Heads up FeedAPet fans with Corona Virus cases on the rise in KZN again be aware that some of your pets can get it too!

Cats 🐈 and dogs 🐕 can get Corona. Be careful with any small mammals too! They have a similar make up to humans e.g. mice, hamsters, bunnies, chinchillas.

Serious cases are extremely rare but here’s some more advice about this subject. Birds do not get SARS Covid-19 as they are not mammals.
Best to be clued up on the facts. Please share!

Meet Bags. Bags Dad was an elderly man who past away and he was past in to his family who had young children and multiple pets and struggled to manage him. This is the sad story of many parrots who loose their original owners. Luckily bags is blossoming in Feedapet’s parrot rescue program and a precious family member mentioned that she has never seen him so calm. He still gargles like his first dad but now at I home he has learnt to imitate Hadedas and has acquired multiple more phrases to his vocab like ‘pretty boy’. We are over run on capacity in terms of rescuing parrots that people can’t or won’t keep because they had no idea what they were getting themselves into with these highly intelligent emotional creatures or they are simply not willing to go the extra mile. We are however priveledged to be the new family of these amazing and wonderful birds
