I want to extend a massive thanks to everyone who has supported the venue and our yard at Sunera while I have been a part of the team.
All our shows and open days would not have been a success if it were not for all of you.... You have all made my time at Sunera incredibly special and I have learnt so much! I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity it has given me to grow - thank you Giovanni 🌟

Today is my last day at Sunera and it is indeed a very sad day as it has become my home the last 2 years & it will always hold a special place in my heart with memories to last a lifetime.

Sunera livery yard will keep operating under the watchful and experienced eye of David! David has been working at Sunera for the last 10 months and has experience in all areas. I have faith that he will uphold the high standard of equine care that we have become known for.

The venue itself and Air B & B will be in the capable hands of Anneri and Megan who have been part of the management team for the last 10 months. Their contact details are on the Sunera page should anyone need anything 🙏🏻

Dear Followers

Sunera Equestrian Estate is available for venue hire. We are approachable should any individual or group want to rent the venue and run shows, clinics or other equestrian events in a private capacity at our facility in the future 👌🏻💥

Our jumping equipment has been well taken care of since our last shows, safely stored away and cleaned of dust montly. Our arenas have been beautifully maintained under the guidance of MCSA & the grounds are in tiptop shape. MCSA visited the venue in the beginning of 2020 and was very pleased with the condition of our arenas. Our show stables are functional with a basic layer of bedding in. Stables are clean & good to go!

We have made sure the venue is as well maintained now as it was when we started!

The livery yard is up & running & we have space for 3 more inside livery horses! We have incredible facilities, beautiful rides out & situated 5 min from town. Our horses flourish in the quiet & serene setting. We have an amazing team & equine care is our top priority.

Our Air B & B will be up & running as soon as life returns to normal & we are allowed to take bookings! All 3 of our cottages have had a total revamp & our guesthouse that sleeps 10 pax has also had a gorgeous facelift! Tennis court, pool, snooker table, gym, 2 x braai area, huge living area! 3 seperate suites with big on-suite full bathrooms in each! Beautiful mountain bike & hiking trails in a tranquil farm setting yet 5 min from town & the beach!
Out of season rates apply!

We have been doing pictures for our clients & video calls while on lockdown! Staff have cleaned up the entire dam by the arenas & clearing bush out of paddocks so we can put up more individual smaller camps!

We have inside livery spot available as soon as lockdown is over! Horse or pony! We are a small, very close, family oriented yard! Horse welfare is always 1st & we have a full time stable manager & a live in groom! We have 2 MCSA Fibre All Weather arenas, big grass arena with drainage system in place, 20m x 20m lunge ring, lovely paddocks and horses graze outside all day!some of the best outrides! Shaving beds are thick & full, quality of teff is outstanding & we supply Royal Feeds for AJ in Plett & surrounds!

The kids have have brought so much joy to the yard & I'm loving every moment with them! Even our roses are blossoming like never before! It such a privilege to be a part of their lives & being able to allow them this experience! Neve, Mila, Phoebe, Zosia & Giselle thank you for making each day brighter with ur giggles, smiles, laughter & endless energy!
I must add the moms are delightful & love having u all too! Team work is essential!

Good morning
1st I want to say thank you for your willingness to support our venue and for attending our shows over the last 2 years and making it incredible.
We will however not be having any shows in 2020 and will reevaluate for 2021.
I know this is very disappointing......
We are still open for outside riders, clinics and inside stabling spaces are available for livery clients.
Our Air b and b is also up and running so you can contact us if you need accommodation!

Dear Riders, Coaches & Supporters

We have decided to cancel our 1st show of the year as PE has a show on the same weekend & we will not have enough entries without them.

So..... the girls had Pony Camp this week! So much fun playing on the farm, riding, feeding and grooming ponies, lots of eats and drinks and stable cleaning! The girls even braved a night in the barn sleeping with the horses (and other little animals there) 🐎🐁🐀🕷🐜🦟
Needless to say everyone was very tired the next morning after the evenings shenanigans and the horses loved the extra cuddles!
