Everyone meet Checkers, “Regal Park Checkmate”.
This stunning c**t is a knabstrupper danish warmblood. Checkers is only a yearling and expected to mature well into the 16hh range 🐴 Mim and I are very excited to have him apart of our family, very thankful to his breeders.

Tomorrow we are heading away for a small vacation up to Innes National Park, until the weekend.
Brett has been working some extremely long hours, and usually 7 days a week. So please be patient if he hasn’t responded to your messages! He will get back to his book work and replies when we are back ☺️

To all my valued clientele,
As of September 1st there will be a price increase. This will be happening for a few reasons, the most important being the cost of materials, supplies and tools has significantly increased over the past few months.

As of September 1st 2023, prices will be:
Trims: $60
Trim + front shoes: $100 (refit $85)
Trim + full set: $150 (refit $130)

If invoices or receipts are needed for business purposes, please make sure we have the correct details and once paid I will send that to you.

If you are not able to make your appointment on the day, please let me know with appropriate time prior so we can reschedule. For every shoeing booked in, I have to stock up on shoes, so it is a waste of my time and money if you won’t be at your appointment.

To all my valued clientele,

I would like to let everyone know that I will no longer be trimming/shoeing horses that play up.

Unfortunately my days are packed too tight and I don’t have time to spend on a horse that plays up. My back/arms and most of my body 😅 also play up heaps when the horses play up, which means I lose clients when I have to put their horses off because I’ve pulled a muscle and can’t do them, or am running late because the appointment has taken twice as long- which happens too often unfortunately.

Horses that play up will either need to be sedated, done another day when someone else has done extra handling with them, or another farrier will need to be arranged.
It’s not my job to educate green, young or troubled horses with their feet, it’s simply to trim/shoe them without hurting myself.

I hope everyone can understand this.
