(Post 1/3) 🇦🇺 100 years ago 28 July 1923, construction began on Sydney Harbour Bridge. The contractors set up two workshops at Milson's Point on the North Shore where the steel was fabricated into girders. The granite for the pylons was quarried near Moruya, where about 250 workers and their families lived in a temporary settlement. The two arches met at the centre of the span on 19 August 1930 at 10pm. The arches were loaded onto barges and towed into position then lifted up by two 580 tonne electrically operated creeper cranes. The arch spans 503m and the summit is 134m above sea level. Steel decking was then hung from the arches over the next nine months.

A friendly reminder of the parking etiquette here at Clifden Park.

* Keep left as you come through the driveway
* Pull all the way to the top of the garden beds

Please do not block access to our paddocks with floats or vehicles.

The first float in must pull to the float 1 parking space as whilst you might be the only float when you arrive, you may not be aware that there are floats coming in after you who need to access the carpark and we need to keep it clear for others. You parking incorrectly makes it very difficult for the next client, feedtruck, farrier or anyone else accessing the property to come in.

We appreciate your cooperation with ensuring that access is easy for all 🙂

Arena is open for casual use as of Monday 11th July.

Please note our calendar for availability and where possible submit booking requests at least 24hours prior to give us time to respond to and accept your booking. It can take us a little time to see and respond to bookings as we work full time as well as have other commitments in the evenings, your patience is appreciated.

Please be safe on the roads when floating to CPS after the recent weather and be aware there are several potholes on Halls Road.

Winter riding sorted 😍 Don’t let the short days curb your weekly riding routine. Our arena lights and new carpark lights make after hours riding a piece of cake … and you don’t need to worry about the weather!!

Last booking 7pm, lights out at 8:15 Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri. Please note the arena is unavailable on Thursdays after 2pm.

Our solar install has been pushed back to Sunday due to the rain ... time to take advantage and get some time in the indoor to make -up for the lost hours of sand dancing thanks to this horrendous weather!

Our arena bookings are at capacity today, Tuesday 8/3 and tomorrow 9/3.
Bookings are limited for Thursday 10/3.
Please note we are unable to take short notice bookings, telephone/text or personal email bookings.
To book our arena you must complete the online form and wait for confirmation that your booking has been accepted. Riders arriving at CPS without a confirmed booking will not have access to the arena.
