Welcome to Bathurst Mini Lops. We promote ethical non for profit breeding practices. Our rabbits all have cages that are at least 2x2m wide (mosquito proof) and free roam during the day thanks to our custom built fences that keep them separated from each other. When our does have had a few litters they are desexed and continue to live here. All money for the babies goes directly to the Starlight Foundation.

Latest litter of babies, currently 3 and a half weeks 🐰πŸ₯¬πŸŒ». None are available to be reserved until next week when I can be sure of their gender.

I've been a little too busy to take many photos at the moment as we are undergoing a renovation, so I apologise for those that have waited for a while.

Just a note: Please don't re-message me if you have already contacted me as it will make it harder to keep track of the order people have messaged me πŸ™‚. Thanks.

The current litter (all reserved) are available to be picked up next Saturday (6th November) or Sunday. Please let me know a time that suits you or if you need a different time.

Here is a quick video of all the animals having a lovely morning. They are all "free range", the fences in the video are just there to keep them separate from each other and the dogs.

Some ways to keep rabbits healthy:

🌸 Don't keep them outside when there are mosquitoes around. I protect mine by enclosing their runs in fly screen which you can get from Bunnings. There are rabbit diseases passed by mosquitoes that are deadly.

πŸ₯¬ Make sure same gendered rabbits are kept separately. While they get on during the baby stage they will fight during puberty and adulthood.

🐰Keep your rabbits out of the sun as the weather heats up. They do pretty well with cold but hot weather can kill them.

The photos taken today were of the babies having a run in the garden. I hope you enjoy them. If you've only just joined our page these babies all have already found homes. The next litter still has their eyes closed in the nest so won't be photographed until they're hopping around. 🐰🌸πŸ₯¬πŸŒΌ

Pumpkin is pictured here on top of the tunnel we made for the rabbits to burrow under. We made this by cutting a hole in a plastic tub and attaching a tube. We used foam to seal it in.

The rabbits love to dig tunnels under this. It's useful because we know they prefer to burrow here than other areas. They also have somewhere safe to hide if they are alarmed by anything.

In this play area there are a variety of toys such as tunnels, ledges and ramps.

We make our fences rabbit proof by burying wire in the ground so that when they dig they come across wire. Proper fences is very important for keeping your rabbits safe.

In other news, Pumpkin has had some beautiful babies! Since last time a lot of people were disappointed, I've already contacted some of the people who messaged and missed out on the first litter and I'll make a public post if any are still available when they are four weeks.

Update ☺️🌸🌼πŸ₯¬πŸ°

The most recent person I have messaged is waiting until Thursday to decide. If she decides to reserve the sable male then they will all become unavailable. If anything changes with the other rabbits I'll let you know.

Below you can view the genders if you were interested to find out. If you would like to be first on the waiting list for the next litter feel free to send me a message. One woman who received a rabbit messaged me in January of this year, so I apologise if you missed out. I only have a few litters a year so sometimes you have to wait.

Thanks for your patience everyone. I did the photos and checked the genders today. I'll be messaging you individually on Friday and Saturday with the rabbits and genders in order of when you messaged to keep it fair.

This is the first time people have been interested before the rabbits are three weeks - so it's been a little bit of a different experience. Thanks for bearing with me, I'll talk to you tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.
