Just to let you know we have found a supplier of lamb breast and lamb necks. They both sell for $6.50 kilo which sounds horrendous I know but it is such good quality you will not be disappointed.

I thought I would talk about Alternate Pet Foods Fruit & Vegetable mix – Mike grinds the fresh, raw, seasonal vegetables and fruit and he then adds a few other beneficial supplements, this mixture is added to the various meats for example the preservative free beef, the preservative free roo or preservative free chicken. You can also purchase it by the kilo if you prefer.
The concept behind the fruit and vegetable supplement is to try to reproduce the stomach contents of say a rabbit in the wild you only need to feed your dog a very small amount so speak to Mike about the quantity for your dog.

The majority of the minces now come in what we call a “patty” there are approximately 4 to a kilo so very easy to defrost. My dog’s favourites are the turkey and beef and beef heart and liver but there is such a variety your dog will never get bored with its food.

We now have quite a good variety of bones (fresh/frozen) in stock they can be cut to size if you don’t like the standard small or large.

We really only like to supply a non load bearing bone such as the neck bone (the idea being that it will crumble not break into shards) or a brisket bone which is a soft bone.

There is always a risk with any bone you may feed your dog so buy size appropriate
