***This is a reminder that all pet vaccinations/boosters must be current and given no less than 14 full days prior to entry.
This is calculated as Vaccination date equals day Zero and your pet may enter the Pet Motel on the 15th day.
Vaccination Certificates must be sighted by us before a booking will be accepted.
Dogs - Minimum C5 and Cats - Minimum Fe3
No exceptions as this is a legal requirement for entry.

Dog and cat registrations have been issued! We are encouraging residents to take advantage of the discount period by paying for their pet registration on or before 31 July 2024.

Once you have registered your pet make sure that you attach their new identification tag to their collar!

Reminder to all our wonderful clients, you have less that 2 weeks to sort out your pets vaccinations if they are going into the kennels over Christmas! Pets need their booster dose 2 weeks prior to being booked into their holiday accommodation.

All pets entering our facility must have current minimum C5 for dogs and Fe3 for cats vaccinations given no less than 14 days prior to entry. Vaccination Certificate must be provided.

Current valid Vaccination Certificates must be provided to make a booking.
No exceptions!!

If you’re planning ahead for your Christmas break (like we all are!) please remember to make sure your pets are up to date with their shots if they will be going to the boarding kennels! Pets need to be up to date at least two weeks prior to travel, so make sure you check to avoid any last minute mistakes!

Flea season is well and truly here, so that means it’s spring! If you need help with any flea control recommendations, feel free to pop in. Whether it’s short acting, long acting, or a recommendation for pest control for your home we can give advice.

Unfortunately we have seen our first parvo of the season again. Unusually early time of year, but we have had touches of out of season rain. Luckily Bella survived her treatment and went home to her loving family after a week in our isolation ward, but not all patients are so lucky. To protect your pets, make sure they are up to date with their boosters, and don’t take young puppies out in public until 2 weeks after they have finished their vaccination course. Veterinary administered vaccines for parvo are very effective (99.91% effective) and if your dog has had a vaccination, they come with a guarantee and insurance policy from the manufacturer that will pay for treatment if they are in the 0.09% of dogs that are vaccinated that then fall ill.
