Make a splash in your dog’s day with an enriching experience in our Doggy Dip sessions! It’s a pool session where your pooch can paddle for pleasure and wellness in our temperature controlled hydrotherapy tank.

It’s a tail wagging and health boosting adventure for your furry friend. Hydro sessions are a great low effort exercise, great for our elderly pooches, folks looking to burn some easy calories, or for those just looking to do something different 💦 🐾

*Subject to availability. Bookings through our online booking system as option on boarding stays that include a Tuesday and/or Wednesday.

🎉 New Announcement! 🏀*April fools*

The Tasmania Jack Russell Jumpers! We're bouncing with excitement to unveil our latest pet innovation... Jack Russell Basketball! Long-time followers know we're always sniffing out fun, new ways to leap forward in our industry, and boy, have we fetched something exciting this time.

You DO NOT need to be a fur-parent with us to try out for the TJRJ (Tasmanian Jack Russell Jumpers). Previous experience is preferred but NOT mandatory. We’re on the hunt for fresh paws on the court.

Tryouts on April 22nd at our facility in Breadalbane: be there or be square, because it's going to be a howling good time. We're aiming to shake the fleas off and really get the ball rolling with our first scheduled game against the Sydney Kings Cavaliers later in the year. Our strategy? Dribble till they dribble. We're not just playing fetch here; we're going for gold, and we hope you'll wag your tails right along with us.

What to expect:

Dunkin' Doggos: Our slam-dunk station where Jack Russells show off their dunking skills.

Barkley's Ball Handling: A tribute to the greats.

The Three-Pointer Pounce: Watch as our athletes attempt a shot from the arc.

And remember, while our furry friends might not know a basketball from a tennis ball, they’re all MVPs (Most Valuable Pets) in our hearts. So, lace up those sneakers, fluff up that fur, and let’s turn this basketball dream into a reality.

For our guests staying longer than 5 days we offer a Sniffari experience. We set up the Bark Park with various enriching smells and experiences to stimulate the nostrils of our pampered pooches. Overseen by one of our 'Sniffari Guides', we will mark your pooches' favorite smells on a checklist that will be available to parents at the end of their stay. A great activity to provide some more variety to your dog's holiday.

Pet Snowboarding at Pets Now Boarding! Our customers know we are always looking at new ways to up our game and be market leaders in new area's. You may have seen posts on social media last winter from people wondering about the dogs being spotted on the slopes at Ben Lomond...

Well now we can finally reveal that was us refining how we were going to safely implement this exciting and enriching new day trip activity for our guests. The area's whilst large are sectioned off to allow for safe and monitored canine snowboarding and sledding activities.

Rest assured we have put the time in to get this right. But if you have any concerns we are happy to address them in the comments below.

We are taking bookings now! As always with anything we do we expect this to fill up fast so don't hang around. Just give us a call or book through our easy to use online portal!

We noticed we were still receiving payments into the old accounts and we have kept it open for months as a courtesy. Please note this grace period is now over as we do not have access to the old account.

🌞All our bedrooms are indoors and fully heated, but it can be cold when first going outside in the mornings.

👉 Casual position available - Bark Bus Driver

We are on the hunt for a Driver for our famous Bark Bus. This person must be confident and kind with dogs, able to handle some strong and excited riders along with some smaller and more tender souls.

Have some wisdom in life and some wisdom on the road ? Safe delivery of our fluffy guests to and from Pets Now Boarding is the goal, with some friendly chats and smiles along the way. This role might be perfect for an individual who is winding down a little, but still wants to keep working and being part of the community.

The Bark Bus picks up in the morning and drops off in the afternoon, as such the role is in split shifts. 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon. 7.30am-10.30am morning shift, 3pm-6pm afternoon shift. Plenty of time to make the Bus runs and keep the bus clean and sanitary ready for the next riders. Additional hours may sometimes be available.

*It would be a bonus if this person had some handyman skills that could be used around our facility. Extra hours may be offered in this case. Applicant must be fully licensed with a good driving record.

🙌 It's April and the Dog Diaries have landed.

We have a lot of things happening here. New bedrooms, new yards, new kitchens and new lounge areas! That's right we are expanding our facility so that we can continue to care for all of Tasmania's finest!

The post reached over 100,000 people and we have seen our photoshopped images being reposted all across the internet. We did infact receive messages of concern about the practice of Dog Bungee Jumping…

So for those still concerned, rest assured we have no intentions of starting up any dog bungee jumping service 🤣
