When you bring your dearly departed to Cornerstone, we bring your little one into our goodbye room before we begin the process of cremation. This provides the opportunity to give a final farewell before they come home to you for the final time.

❤️ Earlier this week we had a beautiful little girl named Lilee come to us. May she rest in peace.

Her parents brought us an absolutely stunning gift. There presence in the office this week has not gone unnoticed by us all. We are honoured to have helped take her over the rainbow bridge 🌸

Milo ❤ (Giveaway time!!)

We got the first of our pet portraits back and I know we might be biased because he is one of our office dogs, but we think Milo is the cutest dog in the world. 🥰

Although we had to hold him down to get a half decent portrait of him, the team have done an amazing job turning him into the perfect addition to our display room.

Today is the Royal Launceston Show and our staff have decided to stay home and spend the day with our families and fur babies and enjoy a well earned day off.

Our facility will be closed for the day but we are always available via facebook, email or phone if needed.

Today is Kelli's last day with Cornerstone.

Kelli has been apart of the Cornerstone family for just over 2 years, but has made the decision to head north to warmer beaches.

For anyone who has dealt with Kelli during her time with us, you know just how much she will be missed. Never have we met anyone who cares so much for every owner who has come in contact with her and even more for every pet that has come into our care.

Although we will miss you more than you can imagine, we are so excited for you and the next stage of your life and you will always be welcomed back.

❤ Queen Elizabeth II was well known for her love of animals, and yesterday, their love for her was shown. Muick, Sandy (her beloved Corgi's) and Emma (her gorgeous black pony) stood grieved and sorrowed at the funeral of the person who showed them all the affection and care for many years.

Tomorrow, our office will be closed for the National Day of Mourning in memory of our late Queen. We will be available via phone if you need.

Meet special Cornerstone guests Milo and Poppy the Border Collies and Riot the Kelpie as they do their bit to help out such a great cause!

✨ Meet the team and our families! - Kelli ✨

You would have seen Kelli if you have ever been into our facility and I'm sure you have found her to be exactly what you needed during a very sad time.

Kelli has worked for Cornerstone for a year and a half now but has worked with animals for over 16 years as a Vet Nurse, Pet Boarding Assistant and now with Cornerstone. Kelli is also studying a diploma of counselling to better understand how she can help us as grieving owners.

Kelli has a heart of gold when it comes to all animals, especially cats! She has two dogs, Mummy and Fluffy, and 5 cats, Cookie, Merida, Mia, Pandora and Sox, all of which have been rescued! All of Kelli's cats are rehabilitated ferals which have found their way into the most loving home.

On a weekend, Kelli loves enjoying the state with her daughter Adele. Although Kelli has lived in Tassie her entire life, there is so much she wants to explore, marking off each location on the map hanging on her wall! Adele is finishing school this year and then heading off to Italy for a gap year to work as an English tutor.

Kelli and Adele also have a real passion for jamming the camera in their pets faces at every chance they get and why wouldn't you when you get pictures as amazing as these ones!

✨ Meet the Owner and her Family - Anna ✨

With all the new changes over the last 6 months with location, building and additional services, we wanted to show everyone that we are still the same caring team that you have come to know throughout the years.

After starting Cornerstone in 2011, Anna is still involved in the day to day running of the business, finding time between enjoying life with her beautiful family and fur babies.

Born and raised in Tasmania, Anna was a Vet Nurse in the area for 10 Years before starting Cornerstone.

Her husband Mike, also a born and raised Tasmanian, is an Agronomist for Simplot.

On weekends, you will find Anna and Mike with their children James (5) and Elka (3), enjoying the beach with their Border Collies, Poppy (13) and Milo (2).

Anna is an avid golfer (and a pretty handy one too with a handicap of 7). She also has a love of Hereford Cows and can be seen running around the paddock in the early hours and in the dying light.

Although Anna and her family are very photogenic, as you can see from the last photo, they just can't seem to work out how to all be photogenic at the same time.
