Some of you might remember the horse “Angel” who I sold on behalf of Violet and Natalie Kimpton to new owners Jo Snell and Jonathan Snell of Norfolk Island. She was the first horse I had the pleasure of exporting out of Australia to the Snell family. I also was very kindly sponsored by Castaway Norfolk Island and Greenways Press Pty Ltd to travel over to Norfolk island and teach some of the lovely riders in preparation for this event.

I happy to report Angel just won HORSE OF THE YEAR for Norfolk Island. A huge congrats to the Snell family, what a great result in such a short time of having Angel on the island. Timi Snell

Also a huge congrats to student Nakeira Douran who won the junior HORSE OF THE YEAR on Domingo I had the pleasure of teaching this combo when I visited, and they are nothing short of talent.

And a special congrats to Stella Watts who won the encouragement award (mum Sarah owns Castaway Norfolk Island Castaway Norfolk Island who kindly sponsored my accommodation when visiting the Island)

Lastly congrats to everyone who made the effort to ride enjoyed the day.

OTT TB gelding 6yo 16.2hh, started basic education with eventing rider, working well on the flat and over small jumps. Track trainers of Elmo have said he will only be sold to an experienced rider with the best intent of giving him a five star home. He has been off the track for 18 months and was let down before retraining stated. Very kind natured horse on the ground and an absolute gentleman to do anything with. Floats like a dream and will stand there all day. Hendra vaccinated and competently up to date with everything. Will excel in any field given the right training.
