What a great day it turned out to be today. The sun was out shining. No rain. Everyone loved their bath time.

Nat the German Shepherd literally hauled her owner to the trailer and jumped in the tub all by herself as if to say hurry up woman and wash me I’m waiting.

Chanel the Lab also ran from her back yard into the trailer as soon as the gate was opened. Her owner didn’t get a chance to even get a lead on her.

Jack the red heeler has seen an amazing transformation of his coat condition happen in the 4 washes he has had with me. The salon quality products and the regular routine has paid off. He is shedding less hair and this is making his human house mates very happy. His skin is so healthy and his coat has gone from rough to sleek and healthy.

Oh how I have missed this boy Norm. Previously a fortnightly regular Norm became a frequent flyer traveling and living between Perth and Kalgoolie. I’m over the moon when I get to see this old man. Missed his cuddles. ❤️ U Norm.

Haven’t heard from me in a while?
I send a reminder text of your appointment at the start of the week. When a client cancels a couple of appointments it removes you from my schedule.
That’s just the way it works.

Update: as most of you lovely ppl know my health has not been good last few years and especially over the past year. When I am good - I’m good to work. But when I’m bad - I’m in a really bad way. The pain has been coming in cycles.

Thank you to all who have supported me and stuck by me over the years on this journey. I love what I do and you’re all a big part of the reason for that.

I had a lot of testing done today; MRI, ultrasound, eye test and blood tests. Hopefully the doctors and specialists will soon finally get to the bottom of it and no more suffering the extreme pain that I have been.

Just a reminder that on my days off I do not respond to calls or text messages. I need my rest. I do get back to ppl during my business hours.

Old girl Marley had a much needed deshed and wash today. With change of season many dogs are shedding. We made this old girl feel happier and healthier by removing that dead shedding coat. And her pawrents are happier too as there’s less mess around the home.

Heads Up

Furtastic Mobile Dog Wash hours of operation are Monday- Fri 9am to 5pm.

If you text / call out of those hours no one’s on the other end of that phone. I’m off doing things non work related on my weekends off same as you. I don’t answer work texts/calls on my time off. Just because it’s a mobile number does not mean it’s glued to my ear 24/7 awaiting your call.

So no need to get peeved off with me for not responding. I will respond on the next business day that the business is open.

Furtastic is celebrating !!!
My 7th year of business has come around !

Today I sat down and reflected on my Furtastic journey. From starting out with a bath in my back yard - to the amazing mobile trailer set up I created and use now.

There’s been many challenges along the way, balancing raising children, health issues and working full time. It’s all been worth it because I managed to work and meet so many beautiful people along the way and create something I am extremely proud of. Seeing the amazing reviews my amazing clients leave for me both on Facebook and Google is something I don’t take for granted and will always be mind blowing to me.

I want to say a massive thank you to my clients both past and present who have followed me and supported me along as I built Furtastic from scratch on my own. None of this is possible without you. I have the greatest people in my corner and I am forever thankful for all your support.
