I’m also offering walking services in the Belconnen region on regular schedules so get in touch if you would like your dog to get out for walking adventures. Walking is for all breeds, sizes and temperaments including reactive dogs.

I will be away in Coffs Harbour from the 9th-16th of November so may be unresponsive to messages during this time, I will get back to everyone asap upon my return.

I look forward to hearing from you all in the near future!

✨ Now Booking grooming appointments for September 13th onwards ✨

Are you looking for a highly experienced, internationally certified professional groomer for your small to medium-sized dog? I am now opening up appointments on Fridays starting in September for dogs and pet parents looking to book in a regular 4,6,8 or 12 weekly grooming schedule. (I operate all grooming appointments on a one on one basis to ensure a calm and personalised grooming environment.)

Why Choose Regular Grooming?
-Healthier Skin & Coat: Regular grooming prevents matting, reduces shedding, and keeps your pet’s coat and skin healthy.

- Early Detection: I check comprehensively for signs of skin issues, ear infections, and other health concerns during every groom.

- Less Stress: Routine grooming helps your dog become more comfortable with the process, reducing anxiety and making each session easier. Proper acclimation and exposure are incredibly important in helping your dog to be balanced and comfortable.

-Fresh & Clean: Regular baths, trims, and nail care ensure your dog stays fresh, comfortable, and looking their best.

Book your recurring grooming appointments today and give your dog the care they deserve! Spaces are limited, so don't wait!

📅 **Available Fridays in September**

Give your dog the gift of regular grooming!

The importance of continuous learning within the canine industry:

As a passionate and dedicated dog trainer and groomer thirsty for knowledge and professional development, I recently attended several webinars hosted by the institute of modern dog trainers (IMDT). These sessions were packed with the latest insights, techniques, behavioural explanations and best practises within the industry.

Continuous learning is crucial in the ever-evolving world of canine care. It not only enhances our skills but also ensures we provide the best possible services to your furry family members.

Investing in ongoing education means your pets receive the most current and effective techniques and knowledge applications available, ensuring they are happy, healthy and well behaved. Thank your for trusting me with your pets well being. I am excited to bring these new skills into our sessions!

Guess what impeccable canine clients? I’m coming back! 🫢

I will be returning to grooming from mid next month on Fridays from Macgregor. To start with so that I don’t over do it and re-injure my hand I will be taking on a limited number of small to medium dogs on repeat schedules for the Friday and build up from there. If you are interested please get in touch and we can organise a schedule.

I hope to gradually work up to increasing grooming availability around my other job training dogs. Please note that due to my hand injury I may take a while longer to complete grooms for the next few months.

I look forward to seeing everyone’s friendly faces again and catching up!

Hello everyone, a bit of a heartbreaking post today. Unfortunately after a decade in the industry I am going to have take a step back from grooming.

As some of you are aware, I was badly bitten & injured by three dogs in an incident around 6-7 weeks ago and required reparative surgery to my hand arm and face. As a result and after multiple nasty infections I have been in recovery for this time however the function of my hand still remains limited. I was medically cleared to return to light duties as of this week and have made all attempts to continue grooming, as a result my thumb is now again infected due to being in and out of water etc and the grooming process has been incredibly painful for me throughout meaning that my grooms have not been completed to a standard that I would like and have taken multiple hours longer then normal.

Unfortunately I cannot financially sustain not being able to get through more than 1-2 grooms a day and be in physical pain and fighting tears all day whilst working on our furry friends. I will need to seek alternative employment to enable me to pay my bills and feed my menagerie of pets

Dogs pick up on our emotions and are very empathetic pure beings; I worry that some of the more sensitive little angels will pick up on my pain and become distressed/concerned whilst being groomed and this is absolutely not something that I can justify happening.

I have loved having you all as clients and getting to know you and your pets and thank you for your years of entrusting them to me to be pampered and get fresh hair dos. I hope to one day return to grooming in the future. I hope to still do companion animal training once I have a bit more function.

Thank you all for your understanding and support.
