Here at Pip’s Pet Sitting we are extremely experienced, qualified, registered, and insured. We cater for all animals: dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, cattle, pigs, birds/fowl, reptiles, rodents, fish...anything! Pip’s animal experience:

I have lived on a farm in Carwoola, NSW my whole 30 years of life. On the farm we have/had mice, rats, rabbits, turtles, cats, dogs, cattle, chickens, and horse

s. I grew up minding animals/houses for many friends and neighbours and have worked with a range of equine and animal industry employers; from racing and Grand Prix dressage stables to horse riding schools and Veterinary Hospitals. Furthermore I have a degree in Equine Science at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. This degree has animal science subjects, and then also the equine-specific version of that subject once the animal one is completed. It has core units such as (but most definitely not limited to):

*Animal & Equine Health
*Animal & Equine Nutrition
*Animal & Equine Anatomy and Physiology *Animal & Equine Exercise Physiology
*Animal & Equine Reproduction
*Animal & Equine Behaviour & Management

This background has given me exemplary animal handling skills with a huge variety of animals (rabbits, rats/mice, birds, reptiles, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, cattle, sheep, alpacas, and horses), as well as a strong knowledge of animal care, health, behaviour, and learning. In this manner, I am extremely comfortable with administering medication to animals, as well as any first aid that is necessary. Additionally, I have a great customer service orientation, underpinned by strong communication skills and an open-minded, positive outlook. Overall and most importantly, I adore animals and will always put their care and needs before my own. I know that each animal is as individual as each human being, and so your animal will get its very own specially tailored care package suited to its needs and wants, as outlined by you :)

So, unfortunately, I will not be available for pet sitting over the Christmas and New Year's period. It is our baby girl's first Christmas and all of our family is coming across.

I'm so sorry to my loyal clients for not being able to care for your animals for you over this crucial period!

Whoever you choose in my stead, please ensure they have the appropriate insurance and documentation/contracts in place to protect yourselves and your pets (and the sitter!) in case anything goes wrong. I know it is very easy to want to choose the young teen who is looking for some extra cash (so cheap!) or family friend wanting to help out (free - even better!), however this could (and has, many times that I know of) end badly.

There are professional pet sitters for a reason; just like with any other industry :)

I will be unavailable from the 21st December 2024 until the 7th January 2025. If you need any recommendations for professionals to contact in my stead, please feel free to message :)

Hi all,

This beautiful cat has been hanging around a neighbour's property on Wanna Wanna road in Carwoola (just out of Queanbeyan) for the last few months. They finally managed to trap it and I've taken it to the vets but, unfortunately, it doesn't have a microchip.

I'm keeping it safe/fostering it until the owner is found (or - if 7 days pass and no one claims it - a new owner is found).

It is very small and quite timid, but 0 fight. Black/brown long-hair, with a very faded pink flea collar.

Proof of ownership required. Please share around!

Hi all,

For some reason our 140+ five star reviews have diminished to 64 😞. It seems to be something to do with Facebook updates, and has happened to multiple other businesses I know. The other 70 or so reviews have just simply disappeared.

If you haven't previously left one, or you can't find your old review (ie it's one of the missing 70), writing a review for my little business would be SO appreciated. I have poured my absolute heart and soul into Pip's Pet Sitting for the last 10+ years and every review counts.
