I have a Maremma,J Russell, cross bred JR/sh*tzu. And I'm a dog sitter. Iv been making my own dog food for a while now. So I thought I'd share.
$51.18.
10 kg chicken carcass
3 kg brown rice
Full cauliflower
3 heads broccoli
7 sweet potato
3/4 j*p pumpkin
I flatten all chicken into a big pot. Added water simmer for 3 hrs. Cool over night in fridge.
Seperate meat from bones. Recook all remaining bones and repeat.
Great all veggies .
Cook 4cups of rice with 4 cups of the jelly and add water to make up liquid for the rice.
Once rice is cooled and uv got all bones out of jelly. Mix everything together and put into containers to freeze. My dogs love it.
I mix this with bit a dry food for there meals. Will up date post after Iv put into containers to let u no how much cost per container & how many containers u get
