5 of the independent riders in the Adopt A Pony Program. Some of these girls started out not knowing anything about ponies, not being riders and now we have walk, trot, canter, gallop (and gallop, and gallop and gallop) and jumping, trail rides and LOTS of giggles and fun. Available for 'Adoption' (lease) and kept at our property in Doreen are: 1) Nikki - a beautiful black Shetland mare, very kind and lots of pony party experience. Suit 4 - 7 year olds. 2) Megs - very pretty silver taffy Shetland mare, suit 6 - 9 year olds. 3) Ollie - a very very cute chestnut Miniature Horse gelding with the longest mane, suit 3 - 5 year olds, 4) Pally - a pale palomino Shetland/Mini cross gelding, suit 4 - 7 year olds.
Also available for a young rider with some riding lesson experienced is Spirit, a 10:2 hand Strawberry Roan Welsh Mountain mare.

We now have 4 places available for kids age 4 - 10. Get the kids active and interested in outdoor activities, this is a ripper opportunity to experience what it’s like owning your own pony. Get Active Kids Voucher Program

Round 2 of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program is now open. The Program helps eligible families get their children involved in organised sport and active recreation by reimbursing the cost of membership and registration fees, uniforms, and equipment. Eligible children may be able to receive up to $200 each. To be eligible, children must be Victorian residents, aged 4 to 18 and named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, as well as a Medicare Card.

Applications for vouchers in Round 2 of the program close on Friday 9 July 2021 and applicants can claim eligible expenses incurred between 1 January 2021 and 9 July 2021.

Who else has horse mad kids? Your child desperately wants a pony, but you don't have anywhere to keep one or the time to commit to daily care ... let alone finding a suitable safe animal for your child (costing in the thousands of dollars).

All our ponies are 'kids party experts'. That's their 'daytime job' and part time job is to give families the opportunity to experience horse (pony) ownership BUT without the uncertainty of the above mentioned ... and if you horse mad lover will even stick to it.
