Caught up on some maintenance on my own dogs on the weekend. It's been a very busy holiday season and with the oppressive heat we're having lately everyone is trying to make sure their beautiful furry family members are kept tidy and comfortable. I have a lot of clients that ask what Poodles look like in show coat. This is Ciara ready to be shown last weekend. Yes there is a bit of hairspray involved 🙂 In between shows all that topknot is in bands to prevent breakage & to keep it growing. Maintaining the coat means a weekly bath , blowdry and conditioner. Ears have to be banded and wrapped as well to prevent dropping in food etc. Lots of work but the finished dog is definitely worth it ♥️

Some beautiful puppas from the grooming table last week. Just a reminder to keep up your flea & tick treatments on your dogs even during the Winter months. These little parasites can be active when the weather is cool.
