We are feeling grateful that the rain patiently waited for our gutters to be connected to our rainwater tanks before the down pour 🫶

All of our dams are overflowing, the creek is running and the paddocks will bounce 🌱

There is something very therapeutic about the sound of running water on the farm 🥰

CV Droughtmasters was established in 2018 and we knew how important it would be for our first offering to be a bull that was competitive in the market and one we were 100% proud to stand behind.

Canina Valley Breaker (AI) has been a standout here at CV Droughtmasters since he was born. An incredibly solid, yet soft young bull he has an impeccable pedigree, a beautiful sirey PP head with an easy going temperament to match.

Dam has produced 4 calves in 4 years. 2 retained stud heifers, Breaker, bull calf just weaned, and is back in calf. Judy is one of our 2024 donor females.

We have waited 6 years (and 451 bulls) to offer Canina Valley Breaker (PP) (AI) on day 2 of the DN Sales.

We are proud to present CV Droughtmasters (formerly Canina Valley Droughtmasters).

As the dust settles on our wedding day, and the purchase of our new property, we felt the time was right to modernise and tailor our brand.

We have come a long way since our establishment in 2018 in the quality of cattle we are purchasing and producing as well as our knowledge of the Droughtmaster. We have done this through research and asking questions, so many questions.

Since 2018, we have supported almost every sale that we could in an attempt to build an impeccable foundation that would support our stud into the future. We can’t thank the Droughtmaster Family enough for being patient with us and offering support and guidance along the way. We are still learning and will continue to learn for many years to come.

In 2024, we ran our first IVF program and will offer our first stud bulls for auction. We understood the importance of offering top quality cattle and we didn’t want to rush it. We knew that the first cattle we offered would shape our future in this industry. We know we are on the right track with what we were breeding, and we are proud to present 2 bulls at the end of the year – photos and videos to come soon. Whilst we continue to retain our quality replacement heifers, we look forward to offering heifers at Droughtmaster auctions in the future.
