One of our hatchlings providing a great example of what these guys do out in the wild to lure their prey!
Both adults and neonates wriggle the ends of their tails to resemble a tasty bug, so the unaware bird, gecko or frog comes along for taste but ends up being a meal itself!
It’s so great to see this natural instinct in captivity after all these years of domestication.

Just letting everyone know these two fake profiles have been using my license details and photos of my snakes to scam people. They have even used pictures of someone’s children in these fake accounts.
Please bare with me as I contact the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection to get my license details changed.
I really hope no one gets scammed by this bloke!!

One of my most commonly asked questions is “what setup should I keep my hatchling in?”

Well this here is the perfect example.
Shannon over at Reptile Way
(https://youtube.com/) put together this amazing tub setup for her hatchling. You can get so creative, as you can see here. You definitely don’t have to stick to a plain tub with some paper towel.
This setup provides not only the right conditions for the hatchling, but also enrichment, stimulation and a replica of its natural environment.
You must still ensure your temperature and humidity stay at the correct levels, but providing this extra bit of enrichment for your snake goes a long way in not only it’s health but longevity! 😁🐍

Hi all!
I have a select few hatchlings that I am extremely happy with in terms of their feeding progress. They’re growing like weeds and absolutely smashing their pinkie mice. I’m estimating that they should be ready to move on in about a month.
As I am so pleased with their progress I will now start taking deposits for these snakes.
Please be aware that I have had literally 100’s of enquires, and for that reason have not had a waiting list as I simply could never commit to so many interested. I also never could foresee just how many hatchlings were to thrive or even hatch!
As I have explained to those who have messaged, it’s first in first served.
I will not however be panning these little ones off to just anyone. I require that for everyone seriously interested and willing to pay a deposit to send me a picture of their hatchling setup, their heating method, humidity method etc so I can ensure these guys are going to people who have done their research on them. They require a much stricter environment, especially as hatchlings or they will go downhill quickly.
Please also bare with me, I’m a mum to a crazy little 1 year old so I may not get to the phone as soon as you message, but endeavour to reply to you as soon as I’m able!
Please pm me with the above info and we will go from there.

Just a few pics of some of our beautiful hatchlings!
All have now had a perfect shed each and feeding trials have begun. Some have fed incredibly well on pinkies and some still have bellies full of yolk so chose to pass. All are striking and coiling and showing great reflexes so I think the remainder will be a breeze 🐍

A little behind the scenes update! A lot of people don’t get to experience the excitement of watching snakes hatch, and let me tell you it really is exciting to say the least! You need a lot of patience though 😅
These guys are sat in their eggs absorbing the last of their yolks, and once they’re done they’ll be out and about like this little guy! 🐍

Big shoutout to Hatched - Reptiles & Supplies for building me a new hatchling rack in record time!
I pulled my old rack out of storage a few weeks ago and realised it was a bit worse for wear.. This new one is a 40 tub melamine rack with routed heat cords.
All ready for our clutch to start hatching TODAY! More pics and updates to come.. 🤞🏼🐍

3 weeks into incubation and we’re starting to see some little snakes in the eggs! The dark shaded area at the bottom of the egg in the second photo is a tiny developing hatchling. All eggs have strong veins which is a great sign that they are all very healthy!
Around 30 days left until they hatch 🤞🏼

And there you have it folks! A perfect green tree python clutch! 🐍
This morning I was greeted with 18 very healthy eggs, all of which are now in the incubator.
Toothless was a week overdue, and I had a vet appointment booked as we feared retained eggs. However she proved us wrong and popped out a clutch of immaculate eggs.
Now comes the tricky part.. the incubation process! With luck, around 50 days from now we should start to see some little yellow heads emerging out of these eggs. 🤞🏼

I spy..
A big girl in her nest box!
Toothless is just a few days away from her pre-lay shed, meaning she is due to lay her clutch of eggs in around 30 days time! From there we have roughly another 50 days until her eggs will hatch.
Exciting times ahead! This will be Toothless’ second clutch, she’s had a 3 year break in between clutches to ensure she is in tip top health. Especially after her broken jaw saga which went viral around the world a few years back!
She has recovered perfectly and is able to eat like normal again which we wanted to make sure of before allowing her to have another clutch.
Keep an eye on our page for clutch updates and available hatchlings when the time comes 😁

We have a new man on the block!
We’ve been looking for some new bloodlines to introduce to our current crew and finally found the one!
This boy is Sorong x Jayapura so some gorgeous blue colouring is expected to come through! And check out that dorsal line 😍
Hoping we have a successful season this year along with some gorgeous hatchlings! 🐍

Well. Here she is.
Hormonal.
Cranky.
Full of eggs.
Uncomfortable.
And in killing mode.
That’s always how I know for certain that she’s full of eggs (other than tracking her cycle) because she wants to kill me just for walking past her enclosure 🤦🏼‍♀️ when she doesn’t have eggs she is the most docile snake I have ever met.

Last clutch she laid 21 eggs & 0 slugs.
I’m betting on another large clutch by the size and colour of her, not to mention those rolls! 😂

No filter, just pure and natural beauty in this stunning holdback! 🐍

Quick update for everyone, unfortunately Toothless did not lay this last season. I think due to the trauma of her jaw break the season before, and not being able to eat for many months, meant that she just wasn’t physically up to it.
Not to worry though! She’s primed and ready for this season, with pairings beginning within the next month.
I do apologise for all of you who were patiently waiting for her to drop some eggs full of gorgeous babies like this one pictured (2018 hatchling we have kept) but I assure you we will have some luck this year!
We have also recently relocated up north, we are no longer in Brisbane, but around an hour north of Gympie instead. We will still be in Brisbane regularly, so for anyone wanting hatchlings out that way we can always meet somewhere.

Our little holdback from last year is well and truly going though his/her colour change! I can see lots of potential blue, and even some red spots along the spine! Looking forward to seeing some of its clutch mates going through their colour change too! 😁🐍

Toothless after she ate a big rat! She did very well seeing as this was the first rat she’s eaten since fracturing her jaw (she has been eating mice since)
She’s gaining weight very nicely for the upcoming season too. We will begin cooling the animals soon ready for introductions next month 😍🐍
