Almost winter. Almost market time.

We’ll be at The Big Design Market in Melbourne from tomorrow with Houndsome’s winter wardrobe in tow, including our wool Sportcoats, pure merino knits and dachshund-fit coats for longer bodies and little legs.

This is the good bit about seeing Houndsome in real life: you can touch the fabrics, compare styles, talk sizing, and get our help choosing the right winter layer for your dog before the cold properly settles in. In person.

It’s Australian Made Week.

For Houndsome, that means more than a logo. It means our dogwear is designed here, made here, and created with the kind of standards we believe dogs deserve.

Our wool Sportcoats and knits are made in Melbourne by experienced makers. Our fabrics are premium and sustainable. Our fits are developed for actual dog bodies, not just cute product photos. And every piece carries the thinking that started Houndsome in the first place: dogwear should be better.

Australian made costs more than cheap imports. Of course it does. But it also supports local skill, local jobs, better oversight, shorter supply chains and products made with care from the start.
