Mighty Mushrooms is taking an extended hiatus as we are moving location, so we are selling a lot of our growing equipment.
If you are keen to start up your own grow room, or want to add to what you have going on already, give us a shout.
Loads of gear including our insulated grow room that is fully decked out (cost around $20K to set up, selling for $5.95K ono), grow tent with fans, humidifier etc (cost around $2K selling for $850 ono) and one or two small set up options for an apartment balcony approx $95 each, a range of gear for market stalls including packaging, tables, chalk boards etc. So many things on offer.... pics are just the beginning

With Spring fully underway and our weather warming up, growing King Oyster mushrooms will take some special growing conditions and a little adventurous spirit but at this price who wouldn't want to give it a try? (Seasonally King Oyster mushrooms grow best in temperatures between 15 – 20 degrees Celsius with humidity above 80%RH).

These Chef favourites are also sought after by vegans and vegetarians as the King Oyster mushroom is thick and meaty with a mild mushroom flavour which sweetens upon cooking. It holds together well during cooking and is often used as a substitute for scallops or other mild flavour meats.

• We currently have oyster mushroom grow bags that are chemical free and prepared from waste coffee grounds in stock for just $15 ea. (RRP$20), a pack of 12 grow bags for $150 (RRP $240) or a 36 pack for $430 (RRP $720)

As a value add each order will receive one grow bag as a grow kit with the inclusions of grow box, mini spray bottle and grow at home information sheet.

Our easy to grow oyster mushroom grow bag will supply you with around 600+gms of spray free, and chemical free gourmet oyster mushrooms that sell commercially for around $50 per kilo. approximately 60% carbohydrates, 9% fats and 31% protein.

Oyster mushrooms are also a very good source of Vitamin D, Thiamin, B6, Folate, Iron, Magnesium, Zinc and Manganese.

The dietary fibre of mushrooms is relatively high, whilst also containing good amounts of Riboflavin, Niacin, Phosphorus, Potassium and Copper.
