'Gwilym' Marstenmoor Pulp Fiction had his first shows today.
(Sire: ‘Mannfred’ Marstenmoor Weight Of A Nation x Dam: ‘Deva’ Marstenmoor Femme Fatale born 27th March 2024)
Completely untrained for the show ring, he did not trip me up and we managed to compete in two shows with judges examining a very wiggling, happy and excited baby puppy.
Gwilym had a fabulous day meeting lots of new dogs and people, the latter who were attracted to him by his appealing dark mask and colouring, as well as his constantly wagging tail. He was also very good at smelling out bait in pockets!
Thanks to Maz and Dave for your company today. Lovely to see Gwilym and Raven enjoying each other's company.

Walt might be very deaf and wobbly on his back legs, but he knows when the wombat is out and has worked out how to move the blinds to see him. The Mastiffs that he lives with haven't sussed this out yet!
'Walt' Marstenmoor Once Upon A Warrior aged 11 years, 3 months, 14 days.
He is on loan to us while his wonderful owners and our close friends, Deb Holland and Chris Harrington are away for a much needed holiday.

Lots of visitors over the weekend to see the puppies. On Sunday, five groups braved the rain and cold weather to spend some time with the puppies. Here are some photos of very happy puppies and humans! ❤

Sunday's visitors were Claire and Chloe whose family in Sydney own the grandfather of the pups - 'Heff' Marstenmoor Comfortably Numb (Deva's sire). A great time was had by all, including the big dogs! ❤🐾

Puppies went to the vet yesterday for their microchips and vaccinations. The only one to cry with the injections was Big Red!

Un be known to us until they arrived here on Wednesday, Anne and Steve had made plans to be married at our home today. Paul and I were their witnesses and Gina and Nova were certainly involved as Matron of Honour and Bridesmaid. Walt did have a wander around also, but really wasn't up for the duties of Best Man.
After the ceremony, we had celebrations at The Independent Restaurant and shared the most amazing food.

Paul's sister, Anne, and her partner, Steve, have arrived from Wales to stay with us for a week. The dogs have been introduced to their travelling companions, Dilwyn the Dragon and Buddy the Scuba Diving Duck.

Mum, your foot makes a great pillow

Puppies are 3 weeks old today. Having one solid feed per day and four more on mumma Deva. Heaviest puppy is 3.2kgs (not 3.7 as I say on the video). They are all doing so well.

The puppies turned 2 weeks yesterday. Some of them are over 2kgs, their eyes are starting to open, and they are getting up on their legs, albeit very wobbly.

So Turtle has settled into life in California, USA. Enjoying a session in the Beer Garden, and then just a few weeks later, having a ball with his first experience of snow. ‘Turtle’ Marstenmoor Invisible Touch (‘Frank’ RUBISS Marstenmoor Ol Blue Eyes x ‘Lil’ Marstenmoor You Crazy Diamond litter born 14th September 2020). Owned and loved by Danielle and Jason.

Gina is not impressed.

Turtle made it safely to the US and was very happy to see his hooman mum and dad. Apparently, the Customs inspectors didn't think that there was anything in the crate because he was fast asleep (obviously he wasn't snoring!).

'Norman', at just 9 weeks of age, has taught himself to use the doggy door (with some help from his nieces and nephews!). I think a larger one may need to be installed very soon. 😂
