Bush Stone Curlews. We have had good success breeding these. We keep pairs on the bottom of our conventional parrot aviaries as a natural pest control. It's 99% effective :)

Yummy fresh fruit/veg for the birds this morning.

Had 5 orphaned plovers in care since they were tiny. Yesterday was release day :)

On the 21st of september I recieved 2 very cold shivering wattle bird chicks. Their nest had fallen out of the tree at a local nursing home. Some lovely ladies came to their rescue and kept them warm until I was able to pick them up. Last week they proven to me they could catch flying insects with 100% accuracy. They were ready to go. Today was their release day. This is what rescue is all about. Moments like this make me incredibly happy and proud. ❤❤❤
