These fine young babies are still looking for their forever homes!! All similar in colour apart from one purple, mostly females but only time will tell because honestly they all have boyish bodies, and I’m having a hard time determining their sex’s 🤣 nearly 4 months old, hatched on 9th of November 2020, 9 available for sale and need gone ASAP!! It’s been absolutely wild watching these little guys grow over the last three months, at first I didn’t think I’d have any survivors since it was my first ever attempt, some breeders don’t even get past their first few weeks with their first batches! but I’m absolutely blown away with how the thirteen survivors have turned out, and I’m beyond lucky to have been this successful with them. It’s been a challenging few months, especially mentally after the loss of their father who I adored more than anything. I’ve been learning soo much, and still learning every day with new issues arising, such as new illnesses I’ve never dealt with or even heard of, and treating babies is very touchy!! And them giving me new challenges to over come, such as them outsmarting me with their divided tank, they keep slipping under and jumping over the dividers to terrorise one another 😂 So I’m glad I have all of you to share my experiences with. They did say breeding bettas was the most difficult out of the fish world to breed, the breeding was a breeze but it’s the challenges that followed afterwards 😂 so much time, love, and many MANY tears have been put into these kids, it will be hard to let any of them go! but they definitely need homes of their own now so I can do it all over again 😂 I promise next time I’ll be more active on this page and keep up with my updates more often so you all can learn with me 🥰 I appreciate you all for being apart of this with me, even if I’m the most inconsistent poster on the planet 😂 so thank you!!

Hi there friends!! 🥰 If you are interested in buying one of these lovely little guys, please message the page, me or my sister Jasmin personally (only if you know us) and we will be happy to provide you the information that is NEEDED to know before purchasing a betta of this age, and we will provide you with information on water & dietary needs, if any sickness or change in behaviour occurs, I will also provide you the information on how to cure/ cheer up your fish! I can also teach you how to do tricks with them so you can have more fun with your beautiful new friend. This batch will be sold at 15$ each as they are half breeds. their mother Nelly is a gorgeous blue and red round tail plakat, and father Indigo was a gorgeous blue and lavender veiltail (pronounced vail)

As you can imagine, it’s extremely difficult to get pictures of these babies, and the tannins of the Indian almond leaf (an extremely beneficial leaf that kills harmful bacteria and fungi, the fish also love to nibble on for extra vitamins) tends to distort the pictures and colours of these babes. Their colours are becoming very vibrant now and will only get darker in a few more weeks as they’re now coming into adulthood, but they won’t stop growing for an entire year! Officially 3 months old as of yesterday!! Gorgeous rage of purples and blues!! They’ve been getting fed 3 times a day, which is eating me out of money 😂 The boys are becoming very territorial and starting to fight, the females are starting to produce their very first eggs and the boys were becoming interested in their sisters, so had to work (hard) on dividing them yesterday. But these little fish are too smart for me and keep slipping under and jumping over their dividers to terrorise one another 😂 they’re certainly keeping me on my toes!! So it’s most definitely time for their new homes!!! Please share with your friends and families or if you know anyone looking to get a stunning fighting fish, once in a life time batch as their father is no longer with us 🥺 purple bettas are of a rarity due to their weak genetics, so grab them up quick for a unique fish to proudly show off! 😁

How incredible is this?! The baby fry are finally starting to take their shape! In this video you can see this lil guy eating his microscopic food called ‘daphnia’! You can also see their Caudal fin (tail fin) and the pectoral fin (side fins)! It’s amazing watching the development of this beautiful fish and we wanted to share it with our friends and fans!

Day 4 fry update!! Indigo, their dad, was taken out today and they’re doing well by themselves! They started on food today and you can see their lil bellies fill up as they eat! Then they swiddle (swim waddle) away, mainly to the top because they balloon 😂 Oh and the filter is ‘fry friendly’ so they don’t get sucked up the filter, they just sit on the sponge to rest. If you can’t see them free swimming, look more around the leaves as that’s where they tend to hang around!

We have babies! They’re teeny tiny but they’re there! Two of our first bettas, Nelly the half moon Plakat, and Indigo the Veil Tail, have successfully bred! Which means we have now got fry, that’s what baby fish are called!
