Lovely weather today for nosework in sunny Berrima.....we worked containers, interiors and exteriors at Advanced\Excellent\Masters\NW1\NW2\NW3 levels and ran a couple of dogs in a mock ultimate trial .... a fun day....

Very disappointing today to find some irresponsible person had left a hide outside the George Bell building at Castle Hill showgrounds. Also left inside one of the fridges behind the rubber seal on the door was some blue tac which had been used to hold a hide. If you put hides out you need to ensure you know how many you have put out and in what area - draw yourself a map - then make sure you pick up the correct number of hides before you leave!!! Looks like some people need to take some classes on handling odour as this is very bad - I know its been reported before and it seems to be happening frequently in some locations. Show some respect for your fellow noseworkers and pick up your hides guys!

I was invited to run a Beginners and Novice scent work class last weekend - here are a few iphone snaps - sorry i didnt get every dog. All the dogs worked really well - it was delightful to see the increase in enthusiasm and confidence with the the beginner dogs each time they came in for a run...the Novice dogs were great, handlers asked lots of questions, so hopefullly ive helped you along your trialling journey. Thank you to Norwest Flyball for the invite :) and thanks Emma & Steph for organising....
