This is the second photo, a couple of weeks after the third treatment.
She had been struggling since last summer to put weight on her horse. The first treatment she was nervous, had a history of kicking with her hind feet, and was on guard with me.
Third treatment she was super relaxed, and very happy to get her treatment !

I just had a lovely client message me some before and after photos of her horse.I did three treatments on her. This is t...

When you have done bodywork on a horse and they spend the rest of day resting in the paddock.
I realign the skeleton using the nervous system and energy techniques. No force. You will see a difference in your horse!

So beautiful seeing a new born foal ( 24 hours old!) releasing tension already. This work is wonderful for unscruching new borns and realigning the skeleton for soundness in the future!

Love working on new born foals! Gentle energy skeletal alignment setting them up for correct bone growth.

Yawning is a way for your horse to tell you they are releasing tension. I realign the skeleton, using energy and work on the nervous system to release built up tension in the body. The results are astounding! No force, no pressure just working with the horse.

Skeletal Alignment, Muscle Tension Release, working on the Horses Nervous System, Energy work, the results are astounding!

What exactly is it, that I do?
I work on the Horses nervous system to release muscle tension in the body and to realign the skeleton.
My work is also energy work. There is no bracing, no pushing or pulling or forcing joints into alignment or pummeling muscles.
Everything is done in harmony with the horse, and watching the horses responses, working with the horse.
The results are spectacular! You see a noticeable difference in the horses way of going, their demenor , and the feel when riding.
Covid safe, Hawkesbury, Hills and surrounds.

If you are breeding, or thinking of breeding, or buying something expensive an X-ray would be essential!

Really like this, letting your horse have a say and listen to them

I posted a month ago about how we had Petey scoped for ulcers and that we are treating him for it.

He is in the pasture at night, then we take him out in the A.M. and put him in a pen for the day, as he needs to have an empty stomach when we give him the medicine later in the afternoon. We give him sucralfate first, then wait half an hour and them give him the omeprazole. Then wait an hour and then he goes back out in the pasture with Bella and Oscar.

We've been doing this daily for a month, and neither of the 2 medicines tastes good. When I go in to catch Petey to give him the medicine he often turns away and avoids me. I just allow him to do it, and I wait. He stops and I attempt an approach again. He turns and leaves again. I allow this for as long as it takes until he stands when I approach, usually 3-5 times.

I think that if many people had this happening, they would feel the need to fix it, and possibly write a post on here asking how to go about that.

I don't believe every negative behaviour needs to be solved. With a very sensitive horse like Petey, treating this like a problem would deteriorate the relationship I have with him. I believe allowing him to tell me how he feels about the medicine, and to walk away and avoid me, is what makes him stand still in the end and allow me to give it to him without an issue.

Recently I posted a video about Polyvagal Theory, and talked about attunement, which Sarah Schlotte of Equusoma described to as "being seen, being heard, feeling felt and getting gotten", and I believe this is what is happening when I allow Petey to let me know how he feels about the medicine. He tells me "I don't really want to eat that stuff' and I tell him " I know it tastes nasty, but if we want your tummy to feel better you need to take it".

I think it really takes a change in a person's perspective to where you get to the point where you don't feel the need to fix everything with your horse, and looking back on my journey I never really thought I'd arrive at this place, and I am so glad I did.

Equine Release, releasing tension, increasing performance in your horse

Hi, my name is Lizzy Bennett I am a Certified Masterson Method Practitioner Coach and Mentor. I am also a qualified Emmett4Horses Practitioner, Equine Scenar and Dressage Judge.

We live on 10 acres at Grose Vale and are owned by Freckle the Shetland (my mascot) Holly, a Heritage Stock Horse and my daughters’ dressage competition horse, and Dexter my warmblood by Furst Love.

I was horse mad right from when I was very little always begging for riding lessons and to have a pony of my own. I grew up in Castle Hill, and we just didn't have room for a pony. Eventually my parents gave in and my dad and I would go every Saturday for riding lessons in Pitt town, at Jackeroo Ranch, ( where they used to film A Country Practice and Home and Away).

  • I got my first horse when my husband and I got engaged, we decided one last fun purchase before saving to get married, he opted for a motor bike I went for the horse! My very first horse, and I did not have a clue what to look for. He was the first one I saw and was within budget, had four feet and a mane and tail so he hit all the requirements.
