Blacktown Kennel & Training Club are pleased to be holding its Trick Dog Trial at our club grounds at Owen Street Glendenning.

This will be an evening trial starting at 6pm on Saturday 17th February 2024. Due to this entry numbers will be limited to allow the trial to finish at a reasonable hour of the night. This is for the safety of judges, competitors and committee who may need to travel long distances to get home.

Online entries will open at 11am tomorrow, Friday 19th January 2024 on showmanager.com.au. In order to allow people to submit postal paper entries a number of spaces will be held back to allow for postal entries to be received.

If entry limits aren't reached more online entries may be made available closer to the trial. The club will also run a "reserve list" if required - please email [email protected] if you would like to be on a reserve list.

There will be refreshments available at the trial. Details will be advised closer to the date.

Any club members who don't have a dog ready to compete in Trick Dog Trials but would like to come to the grounds to see what this event involves will be most welcome.

Entries are now open for the Blacktown Kennel & Training Club Obedience & RATG trial to be held on Sunday 25 June, at our renovated grounds at Glendenning, NSW.

RATG will be run using dummies which are to be provided by handlers.

Entries available online at ShowManager or paper entries.

TRAINING UPDATE – COVID LOCKDOWN

While the NSW Government COVID remains in lockdown ALL club activities, including training classes and July new member intake, are on hold.

Once lockdown is lifted, club activities will resume in a COVIDsafe way that meets any restrictions or conditions that may remain in place.

Don’t forget to continue some training practice with your dogs, and remember even during lockdown you are able to still take your dog for walks and exercise. The club committee & instructors look forward to seeing our members back at training soon.
