Happy 1st Birthday Soldier! 🐾

This handsome little lap dog chose to throw a fiesta themed pawty! 🪅 There is no better way of celebrating then wearing a taco and eating some cake! 🎂 Soldier invited his female lookalike, Caramel, these pair get up to all sorts of mischief everyday they’re together! Soldier’s next pawty guest was cooper (They were too busy playing to realise that a pawty was happening 🤪) these two enjoyed little bite sized pieces of cake together 🍰 and Soldier’s last pawty guest of the day was Mr Teddy! These two pawtied away drank some margaritas (with a side of cake) and went on to pawty some more!

Welcome Peter and Yogi!! 💙🐾💚

This Brother duo came in today for a play and aren’t they just the sweetest!! 💙🐾💚
Peter is a 11 month old Bull Arab x cattle, Peter is definitely one confident boy! He came out into the yard today and right away was showing off his better play bow’s to all his new friends! 💙🐾
Yogi is a 8 month old Bull Arab x staffy, Yogi is an absolute sweetheart, he’s definitely taking a huge liking to the staff and is happy to come over for a cuddle and some treats! He’s still a little shy which the other pups but we don’t think it’ll take long for Yogi to open up and have fun with his pals!!💚🐾

Today we celebrated Parker’s 5th birthday with no other than the Superhero theme, with of course a touch of Spider-Man! 😎🐾

Parker loved posing in her superhero outfit, and chomping down on some yummy cake before inviting her favourite furends to her pawty. Parker of course invited her younger brother Captain and they enjoyed posing and eating some cake together. Parker also invited her other pawsome play-mates, Nala and Riggs, they also showed us their best poses and ate some delicious cake! 🍰

Today Charli celebrated her 7th birthday with a unicorn themed pawty!🦄 It was safe to say that this gorgeous girl was definitely glowing and full of smiles all day ready to party!! Charli invited her little brother, Kona, as well as two of her HOP besties, Jewel and Biscuit!💕They all had a amazing time at the pawty, playing dress up and of course chomping down on the cake! 🍰

Our Story

Our story began in 2016 with a small training service. This eventually developed into our Boutique Boarding at the end of 2017 and following years of planning, HOP's specially designed daycare facility was finally ready to open in October of 2018. Fast forward to 2020 and here we are still living the dream and doing what we love!

The owner and operator of House of Pawz, Laura, has over 6 years experience in the dog industry, including training, boarding kennels and daycares - completing her certificate 3 in dog behaviour , training, companion animal, scent detection and first aid qualifications in 2014. This ultimately lead to the idea and dream of one day opening HOP, which has now turned into a reality!

We understand every dog is different with individual needs and therefor believe it’s important to cater to every dog taking size, age and ability into consideration. With 4 yards including an in-ground pool, ball pit & sand pits; we have activities available for every dog with trained and experienced staff by their side all day.

HOP is a place where your dog will drag you in from excitement, a house where they can play all day, make new friends, learn social skills and experience different things with trained professionals who have a love and passion for the dogs of Townsville.
