Lucy and Evie are co mothering their litters again. Evie had 3, the 2 seal boys are still available. Lucy had a singleton girl. She is so tiny against the 2 weeks old ones, but she’s doing well, putting in weight and holding her own. That’s my little brood for this season. Lucy’s last litter.

Good news…. Last night Evie gave birth to 3 huge, healthy floof butt babies, 2 girls and 1 boy. She’s purring away in motherhood bliss and babies are eating well.

It’s official, Lucy-blu is expecting ! Yay. Evie and lucys floof-butt babies will be 2 weeks apart. They like to coparent so their den is one big contented purrfest. Stay tuned.

Good news…. Lucy is at the breeders now. Evie has already been. Thanks to Brenda from Damukyan Birmans for sharing her gorgeous boy George. Hope to have floof-butt babies by Christmas! Expect Birman kittens to be hard to get now that most breeders in NSW have retired and I lost a whole season looking for a boy.

A breeder said to me “give up breeding, it’s too hard!!!! “ Most breeders have retired in NSW, and it’s really hard to find a sire (boy).
I would be heart broken!!!!! I love those little guys and all the happiness it brings to so many people.
Unfortunately my girls weren’t comfortable with their new boyfriend (their old boyfriends recently passed). There’s a chance that Evie might be preggos, but little Lucy was just too shy.
So I’m still looking for a suitable boy for my girls. Not giving up!!!

Not only are Birmans beautiful, I call them Eco Puppycats.
Eco? They don’t hunt. Too docile. Too bright white to hide. Not as athletic as ‘normal’ cats. Puppycats? They are social, better in pairs, and trainable like dogs.
Not as much grooming needed as other long haired cats. Less or no undercoat, down, which is what mats.
To me, they make the perfect pet.

Well i picked up Evie and Lucy from the breeders today. A butt numbing 10 hr drive! It’s getting harder and harder to breed Birmans, as there aren’t many breeders around any more to get the boys. Most retired. I will know if Evie is expecting in 3 weeks. Fingers crossed xx

Evie and Lucy are off to meet their new boyfriend on Sunday. Unfortunately, both their boyfriends passed away so we’ve had a little break. But here we go again. Thank you Brenda and thank you Deb for finding them a new boy. X

Happiness is….. a pram full of cat nip mice. Kitty version of 1970’s stoner Kombi. 🙂 lol
Been ‘pram training’ my kitties for our road trips. Then I thought to throw in some catnip mice that I make when we have kitty bubs.

Pram training kitties part 2… after putting treats in the pram and going for slow walks around the house, the next step is to brush kitties only when they are in the pram. Park it at your lounge and hopefully they will fall asleep. They came running and jumped in.

My new kitty pram for 3. They luv to travel with us, so now we can take them to country cafes. How to get them used to it? Step 1. Leave it out so they can explore it at their own pace. 2. Refill with treats through out the day. 3. Take them for slow rides around the house.
Soon they will see it as their fun place :)

Time for our Floof-butt babies to go to their new forever homes to be pampered for life. This little guy gets to have a big bro from previous litter. Our kitties go to the best homes. Birmans are social puppycats and do better in pairs. He is from the litter that had 2 mums.
