Jockey Lachlan King took the speedy five-year-old to the front where they never left as they held on to a 1L win in what was a stable quinella with Eamonn’s Memory finishing second, while Shooting For Stars ran fourth.
Eamonn’s Memory showed he can handle the heavy ground giving the stable scope to continue to run him through the winter, while Shooting For Stars may find further improvement on firmer ground.

Deploy and Destroy ($9.50) produced a massive run to take out race six’s benchmark 52 (1400m) at Echuca on Friday.
The six-year-old gelding was caught wide from an awkward draw for the majority of the trip but apprentice hoop Brittany Button kept a cool head and got the son of Smart Missile into a nice rhythm to salute by a length.

Sheila was backed into the $5 favourite and showed why as she took out race seven’s benchmark 58 (1000m) at Wagga on Monday.
Jockey Brittany Button was excellent on the five-year-old mare as they grabbed a near 2.5L win, taking the galloper to over $100k in earnings.
The victory sees ADR go to 52 winners for the 2023/24 season, three clear of Ben Brisbourne in the race for the Wangaratta Turf Club’s trainer’s premiership.
