BOSNIAN STRAYS RESCUE worked as informal group of citizens
for many years and becomes registered charity for animal help purpose at 2021. We rescued up to now more then 300 dogs and cats wich are now happily adopted mostly in EU and the UK. We are supported by a UK registered charity BARC and some independent rescuers and provide full RBU. Every day we have a large number rescued strays which wait desperately for their forever homes. Unfortunately due lack of funds we are limited to how many of these animals we can rescue but with your help more lives can be saved! Any help no matter how big or small with pension costs, foods, medications, vet costs and also with adoptions is more than welcome and really can be difference between an animals life and death. We are their last hope, let's give our neglected furry friends a new chance for a happy home and better life! We work closely with our supporters and on our page you will see regular updates as to how they are getting on in their new loving homes. After the application, video inside and outside the house (flat) and the yard (if you have) has to be sent via fb messenger or e-mail: [email protected] (if can't be attached to application form). After the first phase where we select one candidate for each dog/cat homecheck applied with some of our associates from the UK. Sponsors or donors who help and support our work have advantage in adoption process. They are coming with their own passport after 21 days of quarantine in Bosnia. Fully vet prepared. Quarantine is organised usually one or two times per month. Animals can leave Bosnia at least as 4 months old. We don't neuter young pupps and kittens, until they are grown up enough. Total Adoption fee is 450£. Reservation fee 200£ has to be paid after a successful homecheck. The rest of 250£ before the dog/cat leaves Bosnia. After arriving in the UK, they are going into Defra kennels on 48h and after that can be picked up. Usually use Swindon or Nottingham kennels. Can't use any other kennels on adopters request. Delivery in other cities can be arranged but on adopters' cost. They are traveling with vans. BECOME A SPONSOR ANGEL!!! Every day is a large expense for us at Bosnian Strays Rescue, from food for our animals, tools to clean and care for them, unexpected vet bills, expected vet bills for vaccinations and check ups! We regularly post our bills on Facebook so you can stay up to date with donations we urgently need. We also regularly share our beautiful animals that need a loving sponsor to help support them. We give regular updates on all of our animals so you will be able to see how they are getting on! Sponsors are given priority should they want to adopt however there is no obligation adopt your sponsor animal or any other! We do ask that if you apply to sponsor one of our animals that you honour the commitment and if you can't for any reason that you please let us know in advance. We are looking for a permanent home or foster for Freya currently in Bolton
She is a Bosnian hound mix approx 11 months old. Freya will need an active home due to her breed type she needs a lot of stimulation.
Freya is good with other dogs and currently lives with 2 although she can be boisterous.
She is medium to large.
Good with people loves cuddles and bonds very quickly.
Freya is being rehomed as she currently has 6 mile walks twice a day but she still is full of energy and the families circumstances have changed. She has basic training but requires more. She is house trained

Dear members we need your urgent help. Beautiful 2-3 months old puppies Scottish Shepherd mix were left in vet station (where can't stay) because "owners" didn't want them and we decide to help then but will need 150 Eur for it (each 50 Eur to stay on safe) 🙏

This week I had the honor to attend a seminar and successfully pass the training for conducting behavioral assessment of dogs organized by the Veterinary Office of B&H in cooperation with UNDP. I am really happy to be able to help my animal friends more by improving myself and my knowledge of them.
