Happy Summer Everyone!!!

Well we finally found the sunshine for the first time in over a week! I just wanted to reach out, and let everyone know, that I am planning on permanently relocating to the Edmonton Area this summer!!

So if anyone around the area is in need of getting some work done let me know since show season might finally be starting!!!

Good Morning!! As a lot of you know, I work for a fantastic children’s camp called Teen Time of Edmonton. With the way the world is right now, we have started a fundraiser to help pay for a wash house for the boys!! Currently for the males that come out to camp (campers as well as staff) there is 2 showers... which as you can imagine for a paintball camp of 40 boys... it gets stinky. The funds raised from the bake sale is going towards helping finish paying off the wash house.

Just an update about me and my finger.

I got the stitches out on Monday, so I am hoping to be able to work on client horses by next weekend. 😀 let me know if anyone is in need of some body work done on their horses 😀

Hey everyone, so unfortunately, for the time being, I need to postpone any clients that are currently booked... apparently finger and slicer is not a good idea.

I currently have 4 stitches in the end of my finger. 😞

Well everyone, I have been absolutely terrible at remembering to post on my page the last little while... I’m sorry if you guys missed me!

I had a very busy weekend, 7 horses worked in 3 days! I am so thankful for the shares of my post, that have been allowing me to get my case studies done.

This was Akil, my first client yesterday afternoon, as I was finishing up my paperwork on him. 🙂 Thank you Laura for taking the photo. 🙂

I don’t know about you. But I had an absolutely amazing weekend! Not only did I get to ride my own personal horse yesterday (shocking, I know. I haven’t rode him since September 🤭), but I also rode today, and got to work on some amazing horses.

Just a reminder for everyone

Equine lovers!!!

A couple of things to keep in mind these next couple weeks....

Ensure plenty of good quality food and bedding. Energy requirement at below -20 drastically increases just to maintain body weight.
Working horses, pregnant horses, lactating, growing, and senior horses require even more feed. Basically the more output, the more input needed!

With all this extra forage, a supply of water is essential to avoid impaction colic. Check your waters often, and salt blocks will encourage drinking. Clearing away ice from around the bottom of waters will help those seniors keep coming up for more!

Speaking of seniors, a joint supplement can help keep them comfortable, talk to your Dr. to see which is best for your old friend, they deserve it!

We recommend limiting your riding and working your horse during these cold snaps. If it can’t be avoided, (and sometimes it can’t) ensure plenty of time to let your horse warm up properly, as well as cool off. Never turn a hot or wet horse out into the elements. Try to provide a shelter and a blanket at least until dry and cooled off.

Good Evening Everyone! With the holidays coming up, I do have quite a few days available for appointments.

I have the 27-January 6 off from my “real” job. I do have a couple appointments booked on the 29, and the 2. Otherwise, any other day I’m available for treatments. I will be extending my BOGO Event for the month of January as well. So it will be $45.00 for two horses booked at the same time.

Good Evening Everyone!! With Christmas, and New Years right around the corner, I just wanted to make a big long post thanking everyone for your support.

I can't believe that this page has been officially up and running for over a year. This year has lead me to a lot of amazing people, as well as their amazing horses. All of the horses that I worked on this year taught me something different, and has opened my eyes more than i ever thought would have been possible. I just wanted to thank every one of you personally, my plan was to send you all Christmas Cards this year, but unfortunately I dropped the ball on that one, so I hope you take this as my thank you for everything.

I would just like to remind everyone, that I do have online booking available as well. 🙂

All I ask is you give me a couple days notice just Incase I am stuck at my (real) job. There are some days during the week that i will be available all day instead of just in the evenings. But I am currently free every weekend, and every week day after 5ish.

Now offering Acupressure treatments during the sessions as well! These two boys loved it yesterday.

Wow!! This is such a neat video about the Nuchal Ligament in the horses body. Runs along the neck and down to the thoracic vertebrae. When we do the Logan Basic technique we are helping release this ligament as well.
