I’m looking for somewhere to open a dog training, daycare and boarding facility. I would be looking for a barn or farm with lots of outdoor space (some fenced in area) and ideally somewhere I can put a trailer by it or have space for a bedroom (for overnight boarding) in the facility. I would also need a toliet and sink!(running water) If anyone has any leads on a space that would be fitting for something like this please send me a message!

Started the day with a nice 15 minute walk with Charlie! Then went over to see Re*****on for our 60 minute walk! And lastly! Rudy, Mabel, Georgia and I went for our first walk! It was so lovely to get to know these 3 baby’s!

Met the cutest boy Re*****on today, went for a nice 30 minute walk to get to know him! Re*****on struggles with dog reactivity but you would never know it looking at that adorable face! I look forward to working with him and overcoming these struggles together! Lots of love to give to this handsome boy can’t wait for our adventures! We will be working on- walking on leash, socialization and exposure and of course lots of adventuring!

Hello, my name is Austyn and I’d like to welcome you to Oakley’s K9 Oasis, an oasis away from home for your dog. I have several years of experience working with all breeds, large and small, in a boarding and daycare setting, as well as some volunteer work with a trainer. My absolute love for all things canine and working in the field previously is what brought me to my dream of owning my own business. Ask me about my bio thane leashes, collars and traffic leads which I make to order.

This next phase in my business is dog walking. I will take your dogs for their daily exercise for you whether that’s just around the block, or an adventure to a pet friendly store for some exposure and socialization.

Your dog’s health and safety are my #1 priority that’s why I am dog CPR certified. I can take your pups to a dog friendly store to work on exposure, loud noises and socialization. All visits come with lots of snuggles, reward for good behaviour, and affection.

You provide whatever walking tools best suit your dogs’ walking needs, and I will use accordingly. I will supply my own hands-free leash or long line that is always attached to my body for safety reasons. A safety check will be done on my leash before every single walk to ensure your dog’s safety. We will go for hikes in the woods and after that I will always do a tick check for you. I strongly advise your dogs to be on tick and flea medication for their safety. Water will be provided during the walk.

I can take your pup for a swim on a long line if they are allowed to do so (for an additional fee)! And then dry them off before returning home a happy and healthy pup.

Do you have a senior dog at home you need let out during the day? Will you be away from the house later than expected? I offer those services as well.

This is just the beginning of Oakley’s K9 Oasis. I have big plans in the future for expansion of services. The next step will be becoming a certified trainer and eventually daycare and boarding once I have a property to do so. Stay tuned.
