Thank you for all your support and caring words about Jordie. Amy's Bunny Barn Society reached out and offered to take Jordie into their care and pay for all of his medical needs including upcoming surgery. Although we are very sad to see him go, we know that he will be well cared for and he will have all his medical needs met. Jordie will be staying with Janet, one of ABB’s amazing fosters who is very experienced with tripod bunnies.
Thank you Amy’s Bunny Barn
for giving Jordie the best chance at a long, happy life. 🩷

Jordie needs help! He has an aggressive cancerous tumour on his foot. He likely needs to have his leg amputated. We do not have the funds for the surgery he needs to save his life! If anyone would like to help donate, we would greatly appreciate it.

Jordie is a cute little snuggly bunny that had a real tough start in life. Rescued from horrible living conditions in May of 2023. Split ear from fighting and not getting the food and water he needed, as his owner had passed away. He has since had regular vet care, he has been neutered and was with a foster ready to find his forever home. Unfortunately after a little over a month in foster care, a tumour had grown and we were not told about it until it was almost the size in the picture. We got him to the vet as soon as we could and got the heartbreaking news.

If you are able to help, even if it is by sharing this post, we would greatly appreciate it. No donation is too small. Let’s give Jordie a chance! Thank you!

Meet our adoptable piggies, Tater Tot (multi-coloured) and Sharpie (black)!
Sharpie is cuddly and loves attention, while Tater Tot is a bit more timid. They are currently in foster care. Let us know if interested in meeting them and we can arrange a time.

They will need a large enclosure (at least 10 sq ft) to live comfortably together. Can easily be made from storage cubes and corrugated plastic. Check out the link below for more info!

On July 27, 2024 another Rescue contacted us to ask if we would be willing to take in a few babies from a litter of 8 two-week olds who had just lost their mom. The litter was set to be euthanized due to lack of resources, so they were split up among three Recues to give them a chance. As they were still so young, they needed to be syringe-fed twice a day with a supplemental formula for a few more weeks. They are now healthy and thriving. Once they are old enough, they will need to be spayed/neutered. If you would would like to help with these costs, you can e-transfer to

Meet Belle! She will be available for adoption soon once she’s spayed!
She is a Flemish girl, meaning she is large and loveable. She’s 14 lbs of squishy teddy-bear love. ❤️

Belle was found in a neighbourhood in Courtenay BC, along with many other rabbits, all wearing cat collars. Belle’s collar (which was already very tight) had a tiny bell on it, making her even more vulnerable to predators. Her former owner put collars on his rabbits and then set them all free. This is extremely dangerous for bunnies, especially since they were non-break away types of collars. Rabbits should never wear anything around their necks. A kind neighbour was able to catch Belle and she came into our care.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help Belle with her spay and recovery costs. Thank you so much 🙏
