Carol-Ann and Hannah have been doing excellent work with the pups and they provide your pets with the same reliable, personable and unique care that Town Tails has been built on ! 💖😌

Also, we would love to see more cats in the Town Tails Family, so we’ve reduced our cat rates by 25% !! Check out their new respected fees below for cats and other small critters👇

Yesterday was Town Tails’ 2️⃣nd birthday!

It feels so cliché to say that “I still can’t believe this is my life” — but every time, every day, that’s exactly how I feel.

For those of you here that don’t know, I used to be a Dental Girlie for fifteen years ! 🦷
I was so passionate about my position as a dental assistant and I loved my job, and all of the great dentists and people I met along the way, but I always felt like something was missing.
Truthfully, I began to feel like just a body wasting away under the fluorescent lighting — I wanted to be outside more, I wanted get my body moving, I wanted a bigger purpose and most importantly, I wanted to create a life that I could be there for my son more.

This is when my happy little seedling of an idea was born 💡

And now, many days have come and gone, and every day feels just as surreal as the first.
I did this — and I’m so proud of me 🥹
I went against the grain, I went against the naysayers and the doubt, I took the risks and I provided our wonderful community with what was clearly a needed service !

I’m so honoured to have the ongoing community support, referrals, positive feedback, understanding clients and all the great pups and pets that I get to care for.
There are no words for the amount of gratitude 💖

If you’ve made it to this part of the post , then here are some current stats;

🏃‍♀️ Walking on average between 20,000-30,000 steps per day
🌥️ March/April are my “least favorite” in terms of weather (too cold, then too warm, too wet. Am I wearing my parka ? My rubber boots? With mitts?)
🐶 There are currently 24 pups on the weekly roster — and here are their breeds:
8 Huskies
5 Doodles
2 Sharpeis
2 Labs
1 Golden Retriever
1 Boston Terrier
1 Australian Shepherd
1 Coon Hound
1 Rottweiler
1 Tibetan Mastiff
1 Bernese Mountain

🐾 Dear Town Tails Community 🐾

Something BIG happened to our small little business this February!
After nearly 2 years of cherished walks and growth, it has become mandatory to implement a necessary change.

Effective immediately, all invoices will also have a 13% sales tax applied -- But, as always, our unwavering dedication to providing reliable, trustworthy, insured care for your pets remains!

Here's to welcoming growth and change!
Oh, AND, in the coming months, we're hoping to introduce some really cool features that will assist in the best overall communication with our active clients 🤩 Stay tuned... and apparently, stay warm!

Thanks again, to our whole community for always referring us to pets needing care! We certainly would not be where we are today, without you 💖

No such thing as bad weather 🤪

Everything about this video makes me so happy and shows very healthy and safe play etiquette ! 🥰 You might be wondering - what does good play etiquette look like? 1. The play bow - front end down, back end up! 2. That jerky little movement with no follow through that get the other dog going 3. Silly bouncy movements 4. A big open mouth grin 5. Falling down and exposing their belly, but getting up and going back for more 6. Growling and wrestling with no obvious winner or aggressor. Both dogs should be doing a give and take What does dangerous play etiquette look like ? 1. Stiff bodies - hackles up 2. Precise movements or attacks - no give and take 3. A tight mouth or teeth showing 4. Ears back, tail tucked 5. One dog is trying to get away, but is being constantly pursued 6. An actual fight
