I'm not a big fan of fire works, never really have been, and just wanted to share a little advice for all the pet owners that will be going to any fire works activities tonight.

Do the right thing and leave your pets at home tonight, don't bring them to the fireworks as it scares them and many run away. If you think the noise of the fire works is loud, think of how loud it is to your pet, it's like having someone yell into a blow horn that is directly on your ear. 😐

Leave your pet at home where they will be safe and if you can, leave a radio or TV on for them, so they won't be so nervous and frightened by the loud bang of the fire works outside.

Have a Happy and Safe Canada Day my fellow Canadians! 🇨🇦🙂

This is great advice for all pet owners, especially with fireworks just around the corner.

Evan posted yesterday:

We lost our family dog Daisy last February. The last confirmed sighting was in the Priestman St. area near Abbott Court on the night she went missing. At this point we believe she may have been taken. Her fur may be much longer than seen in the photo now.

We have three young kids who miss her very much. If anyone who sees this post could please keep an look out for her it would greatly be appreciated!

If you do see her please try to take a photo and contact us right away. Thanks!
