Hey Everyone! I hope you've all been doing well! Things have been quiet here, which has led me to finally make some somewhat tough decisions that I want to share first and foremost with you great folks here...
Truth be told, my heart is simply not in these projects anymore. I have loved breeding and hatching these gorgeous creatures for years, and I will always cherish those memories and the experience I gained from it, but it's time for a change for me. I have been introducing my males and females, but with less frequency these last couple years. I think the ladies have felt my lackluster vibe too, as they don't seem to be giving up those beautiful eggies like they used to. But perhaps that is for the best, I have come to realize. That said, I am planning to sell/rehome most of my small collection of scaley beauties with 2 or 3 exceptions. Some are seasoned breeders, others are younger or more suited as pets. If any of you are interested in being their new home for any, feel free to contact me. I will also most likely be parting with my adult snake rack once I have moved everyone out of it.
I have not come to this decision lightly. As a small, frugal breeder, it took me years to get to even this small batch of followers and amazing customers. But I have been mulling over this decision for a good long while, at least a year or more. And as my life is slowly evolving into it's next phase, I am finding I don't have the same passion I once had for this hobby. But I am okay with that. I enjoyed many great years doing something I loved, and now it's time to move onto the next big thing in my life that will bring me joy. These animals deserve someone who will be passionate about them, too.
Nephthis, my beautiful Cinnamon girl will 110% be one of the ones i keep. She is my sweet queen and one of the first snakes i ever owned. I truly love her and intend to use this opportunity to set her up with a nice pimped out enclosure as i make more space in my reptile room. I am also debating whether to keep my princess Super cinnamon Anubis as well as my Queen Bee male as a possible occasional partner for Neph. But I am still thinking on it. The rest are all 100% intended to be rehomed.
Anyway. This is turning into a huge ramble. But I wanted to let you all know first before I officially begin selling my snakes openly. As always, you all get first word before anyone else. Hit me up if you have any interest or questions. And Thank you all SO much for supporting me in this hobby for so long. I am very sorry if you were hoping to hear about new clutches from me, as I know many of you have inquired about them. I wanted to see if my girls would lay any final clutches, but I'm thinking they aren't planning to by this point. I am happy to direct any towards other breeders I know who might be able to help.
Thank you all again!
