It is with overwhelming grief that I write these words. On Wednesday, July 31st, I lost my beloved Fredi. Her passing was sudden and without warning—she collapsed, and within minutes, she was gone. The cause remains unknown, and despite the whispers, I want to make it clear: she was not killed in a dog fight. Yes, there was a brief scuffle with her mother shortly before she passed, but that did not take her from me.
For four precious years, Fredi was my constant companion. She was my everything—my partner in training, my cherished pet, and the future of my kennel. Losing her so suddenly has shattered my heart. The pain of her absence is unbearable; I miss her with every breath I take.
Fredi had just turned 4 this past June. I had recently returned from Pennsylvania, where I had bred her for what was to be her first litter. She was ready to begin her trials for utility titles in Canada and the US, and to achieve her IGP 2 & 3.
