Dog nails grow a little quicker in the winter months. Typically because they don’t get quite as many walks and there isn’t usually as much wear from the pavement. Feel free to send me a message if you’d like to make a quick nail trim appointment🙂🐾

Ok, writing posts like this is hard - but here goes nothing. 🖤

Things have been rough for us since moving to Kentville, but October and November were devastating.

We've tried our absolute best, but we're still having a really difficult time making the ends meet.

We're at a point now where I feel if we do not say something, that by the time we do - it may be too late... and we don't want to become another business that just disappears, leaving everyone asking what happened? Why didn't they ask for help???

So this is us, asking for help.

We know it's super tight for everyone, and that it's only going to get tougher... but if you could help in any way - we'd be eternally grateful.

Just a friendly reminder that if you aren’t able to make it to your appointment, let me know! I understand life is busy especially in the summer time. This is my busiest time of the year as well, and I have people that would love to take your spot if you can’t make it in. And quite frankly I’d love to be paid 🙂 there is a no show fee, and you might have to wait until your next booked appointment.

Good day! I would love to introduce Christine Dog Grooming by Christine , the extra friendly face in the salon some of you have already had the pleasure of meeting. Christine took a grooming course while she was living in Alberta. And now that she has returned to NS, she’s been getting lots of hands on practice with me! She’s now ready to dive right in!!🎉 how exciting!

We want to start slow and stready! we are looking for well behaved, basic grooms, bath dogs and most importantly, kind and patient people! As a new groomer, it’s very important to build confidence in yourself and I want to make sure there is no extra added pressure when it comes to the duration of the groom. And feedback is encouraged!! I can assure your pets will be in good hands🥰.

Good afternoon! I hope you are all enjoying this lovely weather and get to relax a bit.

I would like to inform all my regular clients of some pricing changes that will be effective immediately. In the past I have ben charging by breed, size and length of groom and basically by feel. In order for me to keep up with the inflations I will be switching over to a hourly rate of $45.

All grooms will have a minimum of 1 hour charge, even if it takes 45 minutes you will be charged $45 (executions: nails, quick brush out etc.) There will be quarter hour increments like 1:15 hrs, 1:30 hrs ,1:45 hrs etc..

I realize this will take some time for everyone to get used to but I know several groomer’s who have switched to this system and it works for them. I have ben doing research and comparing prices around the province and this adjustment brings me in line competitively with other groomers.
