Meet Leo, this sweet boy has 2.5 legs but that doesnt slow him down, and Gracie who is both blind and deaf and thriving here! I’m asked often if I’m able to watch dogs who are special needs so I wanted to put it out there that I definitely am! I’ve taken many special needs and complex care dogs in the last 9 years. We can accommodate almost anything so please don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi eveyone, I’ve had some new clients all asking the same questions so I thought I would share with everyone so you all know the updated policies. 🐶

I am a VERY small business and this is my ONLY income to help provide for my little family. If you have any questions please let me know!

DROP OFF/PICK UP HOURS;

Starting January 2024, It’s A Ruff Life will have new drop off and pick up hours!!!

I’ve run this business for eight years and tried my very best to accommodate drop off and picks ups at all hours of the day but I’ve been finding that extremely difficult over the last little while. Having permanent drop off and pick up times will allow me to have the same hours each day to run errands, make plans and have uninterrupted family time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however this is pretty standard procedure across the board with boarding facilities.

Going forward drop off and pick ups will be as follows.

DROP OFFS;
Mon-Fri
730am-8am OR 9am-10am
*I am gone for school drop off from 8-9am

Sat-Sun
8-10am

PICK UPS;
Sun-Mon
2pm-5pm

*if requesting to pickup outside of the listed hours (5pm-9pm LATEST) you will be charged for another day @ $45/dog

BOOKED TIME;
Just a reminder that if you book in for 5 nights and come home a night early, you still have to pay for the 5 nights you originally booked in for. I’m just a small home business and this is my only income to help support my family so last minute changes really effect me. I’ve likely turned away other clients for that night therefore I’m losing money.

NON REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS;
As always a 50% non refundable payment is required to hold your spot. There has been some confusion with new clients so I wanted to explain how it works. Once the payment is sent to hold your spot, I will book your dog in. This payment cannot be returned to you or moved to hold another date. This payment covers me in the event that you need to cancel. I will not hold your spot without a payment sent under any circumstances.

I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for understanding and I look forward to seeing your dog soon!!
