Volunteer program!

Did you know we have a volunteer program to come be a professional pup snuggler? It also includes duties like cleaning couches, picking up p**p outside and accidents inside, sweeping/mopping floors, washing dishes, helping with feedings, monitoring pups playing, etc!

In order to become a volunteer you must sign a waiver or go through the waiver with your parents. 🐾

Our boarding facility has limited numbers to keep our boarding experience exceptional. Due to this, cancellations on short notice don’t give us time to fill that spot which can result in large amounts of lost income.

Cancellation policy for boarding is as follows:
-A 50% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to hold the spot
-Over 48 hours notice that deposit will become a credit on your account
-Anything less than 48 hours will result in that deposit being used to cover your pup’s booking.
**We understand that there are circumstances that require cancellations. Please communicate with us and we will figure out a plan (Ex. dog is ill)

A QUESTION WE GET… “do you mix big and little dogs.” And the answer is complex and on a dog-to-dog basis! If you have a request that they don’t go together, we will meet that request 100%. Majority of our pups are regulars and with a small team we know the dogs inside and out. If we have a brand new pup we get to know them extremely well before we mix and mingle! We know which pups like the small dogs and which don’t and vise versa! All introductions are done slowly and appropriately. If a biggg pup likes to wrestle, we will make sure that they don’t wrestle with the little guys! By having littles and bigs together and closely monitored it allows for both sizes to socialize and read behaviours of all breeds and sizes! Small dogs and big dogs alike go to the dog park/events/walks so this gives them a chance to experience it in a controlled setting ❤️

GIVEAWAY👇👇There are sooo many reasons people bring their pups to daycare…-someone to let them out while their at work-so that their pup is tired after they are done a long day at work-weight loss or increased mobility journey -prepping for a boarding stay-exercise-socialization with multiple dogs at a time (or one-on-one with another dog if they prefer and we will grow their roster it if we can!) -learning to read cues from other dogs -“acting out” at home due to being bored -and so many more!! We made it to the weekend!! 🥳

When you find out your best friend is at daycare too 🥹 Look at these two GO! 😍 (Excuse the floors, the water dish has turned into a pool this morning 😂)

Another PAW-SITIVE story!! 🥹🥹 Bailey is a senior pup that comes to Wag at least once a week with her brother, Kenny. Bailey was a farm dog but with her new owners she went on a weight loss journey that would increase her mobility. When Bailey started with us, sitting took an extra minute and she would tire out faster than the other pups. Sometimes her joints would get sore so we would give her lots of breaks and ensure she had an orthopaedic bed to snooze on. Now … LOOK AT HER GO! She chose our youngest pup at daycare to play with today and we couldn’t be more proud. Her loving parents have given Bailey (and Kenny) everything and anything a pup could want and have worked so hard to help her live her fullest life. On top of all this hard work we like to take a TEEEENY bit of credit for the socialization and exercise that daycare has given her to assist her on this journey 🥰😉 Bailey is THRIVING! 🥲 We love you so much, sweet girl!

Today was a dooooodle partyyy!!!! We had SIX doodles join us from four different families! 🎉🎉

We made it to Friday!!! We have boarding spots this weekend and our Saturday has turned into a tiny Saturday!! All sizes are welcome for daycare but our group is mostly shihtzu/bichons and yorkies! 🥹🥰

This weekend has been a blast! 🎉🎉 Thank you for letting us hang out with your pups ❤️

Happy Tuesday!! ❤️🐾 A couple shots from the week! 🎉

“How do we know they are playing? There are teeth!” We also see… relaxed/open mouths, taking breaks between the little “attacks”, tails wagging, Stella is laying on her back, and lots more!! This is a situation where little dogs and big dogs CAN play together safely 😍🥹 We make sure to have someone monitoring this group of three so that if anyone is done, we can help facilitate a safe space and then it’s time to rotate groups around! ❤️
