To all my amazing clients, I will no longer be accepting any cash payments due covid-19. I’ve set set myself up to issue all invoices online to help reduce any chance of spread. Helping out your older horses can be very rewarding, an old upper level dressage horse from today who has had a few battles with laminitis. Worked with the vet to get the trim right then applied some pads with dental impression and sole pak with a good breakover to the lateral side as he was landing pretty hard to the outside. Walked off a happy customer 😊

-for every 1 centimeter of extra toe length- this results in an extra 50 kilograms of force acting on the tendons

-1 degree drop in sole angle where the DDFT inserts into the coffin bone (affected by Palmar Angle) can lead to a 4% increase in the pressure exerted by the DDFT on the Navicular bone

These simple facts highlight how important it is to keep your horses on tight shoeing schedule and receive correct trimming/shoeing to give them a long and successful career.
