💖 Furever Home Update💖

"We absolutely adore him, and he settled in right away, like this was always his home. He is such a sweet and loving boy! He fills our hearts again, after the ache of our previous dog's passing in February.
He loves to snuggle and cuddle, and sleep with us, loves his food and snacks and playing fetch, and is just so easy-going and well-behaved all the time. Even our rescue cats are warming up to him.
He absolutely loves car rides, and being outdoors and exploring our property. And especially rolling around on the grass! There is such joy in him, like he is a puppy again, and it gives us joy to see him so happy.
He will know a loving and caring home for the rest of his golden years, that's a promise.
Thank you so, so much, from our hearts! This was meant to be."

🐾 Furever Home Update 🐾

"Hi Orangeville SPCA, it's been several weeks since we adopted little Mango and we wanted to let you know she's doing very well! She's incredibly social able and gets along with our dog Charley. She's enjoying the space she has in our home and has been exploring lots and finding plenty of new spots to curl up and sleep. She has her wild moments and especially loves chasing the plastic spring toys. She had her first visit with our vet and is healthy and up to date on all her shots etc."

"Ryder is doing great , he has mad himself at home . He has made friends with the neighbours and the neighbour's dog. Everyone who meets him thinks that he is adorable .
He has the run of the house and can make himself comfortable anywhere .
We found the adoption process very easy and are happy with the result."

It was a day of pure magic yesterday when our visitors from a grade two class, arrived with an overflowing sea of donations. Their incredible generosity has left us speechless and deeply touched. It's Fundraiser Time!

This years recipient is Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre!

This years fundraiser is Grand In Your Hand, a chance for you to win $1000 while also donating $1000 to the animals who need our help.

How does it work?

1. The draw will be promoted online.
2. Squares are numbered from 1 to 100. A total of 100 squares per draw ONLY will be sold.
3. Numbered Squares are sold for $20 each (multiple numbers may be purchased).
4. To order your numbers, please comment them below & I will comment back confirming your numbers.
5. Then payment must be sent via EMT to [email protected]. Please reference your numbers in the message section.
6. Numbered Squares are claimed ONLY once payment has been received – numbers cannot be put on hold until payment is received.
7. Once ALL 100 squares are sold, the winning number will be selected by a Random Number Generation system from all squares sold for the draw on Facebook Live. The draw will take place within 24 hours of ALL 100 squares sold.
8. The winning number will be announced on all Blue Times Two Photography social media channels and winner will be contacted within 24 hours.
9. The remaining $1000 will be donated to Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Centre within 24 hours. A Facebook live of the donation being dropped off will also be posted on all Social Media channels.

🐾Furever Home Update 🐾

"Thank you for checking in! Betty (now Millie) is doing great! She's settled right in and is loving all of the space. She's a wonderful cat with a quirky and inquisitive personality. She's very chatty (which I love) and follows me everywhere. She's a mellow and super friendly girl who's still a kitten at heart. She's eating very well, using her litter box like a champ and loves to 'hunt' her various cat toys (and then brings them to me which of course I praise her immensely for!). She's an avid bird watcher from the door screen and has been sleeping with me in my bed almost every night.....
The adoption process was seamless .... I would certainly adopt from Orangeville SPCA again. I very much appreciate the honesty with the personalities of the cats in your care. Each one is very special but some certainly require more specialized homes than others and I think finding that right match really helps to keep the 'forever' in forever home.
Thank you again for introducing Millie and I! I'm looking forward to the next 15+ years with her by my side 😊"

"Thank you so much for checking in on June! She is doing wonderfully and has settled in perfectly with our household. She seems to have taken a special liking to the sunny spot by the window and on the couch, where she loves to lounge and watch the world go by. She recovered quickly and smoothly from her spay and is full of energy.

The adoption process was seamless and straightforward. We found it very easy and efficient. Your team's support was excellent throughout, making the whole experience enjoyable.

We did sign up for the free food from Royal Canin, and the process was simple. We also opted for Auto Delivery and are looking forward to receiving the free DNA kit.

Without a doubt, we would adopt from you again if we decide to add another pet to our family. Thank you for everything!"

Today is World Pet Memorial Day, a day to remember the animals who have touched our lives and crossed over the rainbow bridge 🌈 🐾

On this day of reflection, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society is sharing resources to help cope with loss, as well as ways to honour the memory of our furry friends.

One way to honour a beloved pet is by donating in their name to a local Ontario SPCA animal centre. Your generosity helps give another animal a second chance at a happy life. Tribute gifts can be made year-round on our website, and you can send a card to offer condolences and let the recipient know about your donation.

Prefer to host an event in your pet’s memory? The Ontario SPCA’s Humane Hero fundraising site lets you create your own fundraiser, with all funds raised helping animals in need.

Finding a supportive community during times of grief can make all the difference. Visit ontariospca.ca/pet-loss-support-group to learn more about the Ontario Pet Loss Support Group. You will also find resources geared towards children who are grieving the loss of a furry friend.
