Saturday's adoption event, fundraiser and microchip clinic at Pet Valu Convent Glen Shopping Centre was a great success!
Thank you to Dr. Patel of Tenth Line Animal Hospital for holding this microchip clinic with us, as 17 pets were microchipped on Saturday.
Over $400 was also raised for the rescue and two kittens found their forever home.
We are very grateful to Pet Valu Convent Glen for hosting this wonderful event.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, shopped and participated, we wouldn't be able to do this work without you!

🐾The day has almost arrived! Come visit us in store tomorrow at Pet Valu Convent Glen (6509 Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard) for a fundraiser, adoption event and microchip clinic! 🐾
Our adoption event and fundraiser will be from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm where we will have beautiful Cordelia and her adorable kittens 😻, as well as kittens Eli and Connor. If interested in adopting you can pre-apply at our website www.furry-tales.ca. We will also have a table with some delicious baked goods and merchandise for sale with proceeds benefiting Furry Tales.
From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, we will be hosting a microchip clinic in-store, no appointment necessary.
Having your pet microchipped is the best way to ensure your pets safe return, in the event they become lost or missing. Microchips will stay with your cat, wherever they happen to find themselves.
For only $35 you can have the peace of mind of knowing that if your dog, cat or rabbit ever find themselves lost, they have the best chance of finding their way safely back to you!
Dogs must be on a leash, and cats and rabbits must be securely in their carriers.
