This is a super special pet spotlight today! Meet Bijou… (one half of) the inspiration behind our brand! Bijou is an old gal, going on 15 years old. While she’s lost her sight in her older years, she can can always find her favourite kitchen chair to take a long nap in. She loves snuggles and lap naps… and has the loudest purr we’ve ever heard!
Bijou was adopted when she was a year old from the humane society in Toronto and had already birthed a litter of kittens! Bijou has travelled by car, train and plane and lived in 4 different Canadian cities and has even been camping- quite the adventurer! Her unique and adorable face makes us smile every day!

Meet Jojo! Here’s what this sweet girl’s human shared with us:
JoJo was a rescue cat and we adopted her from foster when she was almost two years old. We didn't see her in person until we picked her up and everything else was on zoom. Surprise! She was a munchkin cat!
She has a smiley face tattoo in her ear because they were unsure if she would ever be able to trust humans. She's lived with us for two years now and sleeps on our faces and bites our toes to wake us up for wet food.
Her favourite things in order are 1) Any type of affection from her humans 2) Her crinkle teaser toy and 3) wet food. And she is a wet food snob!

Katy is an 11 year old long-haired chihuahua. She loves naps, the sun on her fur, and fries. She is quite the communicator; she’ll bark if her bowls are not filled up to the proper heights. She’s been known to escape the house when given the opportunity… only to look for new grass to take a sun-nap in. Katy will also be a big sister to two humans in April 2023!
