**BOOKING APPOINTMENTS**

Its a great day over here at the salon. My time out of province has ended and Im back in Peterborough ready to groom your pups!

I've returned with a new skillset, Handstripping! While away on contract I was lucky enough to be sent off to a multi-day course and learned how to take care of your hard and soft wire coated fur-babies.

Im taking bookings as soon as the first week of May and cant wait to see some of you again!

I value all of my amazing clients at The Black Dog Salon, so it is with a heavy heart that I inform you we will be closing shop as of April 8th. I will be relocating to Nova Scotia on April 11th and will no longer be able to take care of any of your lovely pups.

If you are looking to get a grooming appointment before then please reach out to me so we can make sure you have a spot reserved. I can offer recommendations for a new groomer and am happy to provide information about the tools used on your dogs to help in your journey.

With the new year comes a LOT of new changes for us!

First off, we've begun our rebranding! This is an incredibly exciting step for us and show's how much we've grown since we opened in 2019. Please bear with us as we move everything over to our new branding.

Additionally, we're going to be launching a brand new website shortly. From the website, you'll be able to book services, read reviews, see a little bit of our backstory, access our social media platforms, and purchase some of the supplies we use here in-house. This is a huge step for us as we grow and I can't wait to start this part of our journey.

Lastly, I wanted to share some of the certifications I have as I attended some great classes this year to be able to provide the best service possible to you all!

As of 2019, I am certified by The Canadian Professional Pet Stylists as a Bather Technician and an Intermediate Stylist and am planning on working with them again to receive my Double Coated Technician and breed-specific certifications.
As of November 2022, I am certified with AB Sebastian's Pet Salon via their Evolution of The Doodle class as well as their Historical Continental Cut Class to better serve both my doodle and poodle clients.

I hope the New Year brings you all a great deal of joy and bountiful health!

These are the top of the line care products when it comes to caring for thick long coats. We use them exclusively on our grooming table. We are aware that many of our clients try their best to keep a coat in good condition, but just need the correct tools for the job to be successful.
