Being a horse was hard for him today.
Festive Christmas Eve paddock scraping. Merry Christmas everyone!! 🎅🏼🐴🎄
I love it when horses snore!

This is going to save us a whole lot of time here on the farm.
I came up with the idea and Jay brought it to fruition.
No more fighting with slow feed hay nets in the winter…or ever 🤩. Now we can just dump a bale right into them.
I’m just about as happy as a hound pup with two tails!
Young ladies I’d suggest dropping big hints that acts of service are your love language. I’m pretty lucky to have this Cinderfella all to myself.
Makes me think that going to the dentist for a check-up isn’t so bad after all!
It takes practicing the basics over and over again to make the ‘big sticks’ look like a 2’9”.
I’m sure over the years Sarah has thought ‘you want me trot into that again🙄’…I know she has because she’s said it out loud.
Watch this…this is why!! 🥰
Too hot to much more than a walk during our lessons today so we decided to try riding something else. 🤩
Oh how I wish they all came with this party trick. #selfloader
A lot easier to stay warm on a cold day when you ditch the saddle (and the bridle in her case). #thinkwarmthoughts
We wrapped up 2022 by participating in a clinic with Siobhain O'Connor.
Everyone was able to get some great tools to take away and work on as they prepare to achieve their 2023 goals!!
This young lady really impressed me tonight. The jumps weren't huge but what they were was steady and balanced and she didn't ride defensively as she has since I've been fortunate enough to be her coach.
'Catch' the horses with me. Listen for the thunder of hooves at ~20 seconds in.
Horse Show Dads are the best Dads! We have the BEST at our barn. 💙
Thank you for raising the wonderful young ladies that I get to hang out with.
Today was a great day!! 🤩 My daughter's horse had a bout of laminitis in the new year we had multiple late night visits by Dr. Mary Baks, the barn stunk of rotten eggs for weeks (if you know you know 🤢) and reset after reset (sometimes only days apart) with custom shoes and pads to make him comfortable by our fabulous farrier, Scott Noble. At times the coffin bone was visible and I thought many times that we were done...But we pulled shoes, crossed our fingers and toes and we now have a HAPPY HORSE!! No shoes, no pain meds and he's happily moving forward and willing to work 🥰. Today was actually a fabulous day! (Yes he has his martingale on, I planned on lunging him for 3 whole laps)
