With the extreme heat warning in effect over the next few days and the hot summer that we've already had I wanted to take a minute and talk about heat exhaustion in dogs. We need to remember to be extra mindful of the heat and the effect it has on dogs particularly the brachycephellic breeds, double coated breeds and young/senior pets. Please don't walk dogs in extreme heat or on hot concrete and please don't leave them in a car not even for a second. Always be watchful for signs of exhaustion and always have water available. *If heat stroke is suspected in a dog please call your veterinarian immediately*

I've been working hard setting this up and I've added all upcoming appointments for the year, so anyone who has an appointment booked should already be in there, and I'm currently working on backtracking and adding all previous appointments for the past 2 years so that everything will be in the schedule. All the people that I have manually inputted should have an online profile already made with the information I have on file, and those who I havn't gotten around to inputting yet can still book anytime and fill in their own information in the meantime.
I'm sure there will be little bumps along the way as I go forward with this but hopefully it will be smooth sailing from here, lol.. I'm always open to feedback, if there's anything that can be improved please don't hesitate to contact me, I really want this to be user friendly!

I just wanted to give everyone the heads up that I will be inputting all of the appointments that are currently booked into the new booking software over the next few days. Everyone who has an appointment booked should receive an automated message sent to their phone number on file confirming that the appointment is booked and in the new software! Please don't be alarmed if you receive this message, I'm just transferring everyone from my pen and paper book to the online software🙂
Once I have all current appointments in there for the year I will open up the online booking to new appointments going forward😁

I'm just putting up a few pictures that I've neglected to post over the past little bit while I work on setting up my online booking platform. I will get back to posting more cute groom pictures and hopefully launch the new booking app this week!😁

And I can't believe it's been this long since I've posted on this page! I have to say thank you all for your continued support, life has been so busy that I even forgot about my 2 year anniversary last week🤦♀️
I will be closed today thru Monday and reopen on Tuesday, I have a few things to work on over the weekend including setting up a new booking software!😁 Up until now I have been writing appointments in a book with a pen and pencil, lol, but as I get busier I need to find ways to simplify things for myself and my clients. Would online booking be something that people would be interested in? Clients would be able to see my schedule and book online at anytime without having to wait for me to reply to texts or return phone calls, but I would still always be here to manually book people in as well and always continue to take calls.
Please let me know your thoughts and if you think online booking is something that you would use💗

I just want to remind everyone to please make an effort to be on time for your scheduled appointments and to please let me know ahead of time when you can't make it for your appointments so that I may fill the spot🙏 I understand sometimes things are out of our control ie bad weather and emergency situations and that's ok, but when people are just late coming to their appointments it cuts into the next appointment after them and pushes back all other clients for the day, which messes up the entire day for myself and all other clients after them.
Effective March 1st 2024 I will be requiring 24 hrs notice for cancelations ( not including bad weather ). Cancelations with less than 24hrs will be subject to a No Show fee equivalent to 50% of the cost of service added to their next bill. Late arrivals will have their appointments canceled after 15 minutes of not showing up for their appointment and will have a No Show fee equivalent to 50% of the cost of the groom added to their next bill. If anyone is running late for their appointments please just let me know so that I can make accommodations.
As a small business I rely on my scheduled appointments to be able to stay open and continue to offer services to everyone.

Wednesday *closed*
Thursday 10am-4pm
Friday 10am-4pm
And Sundays by request
Starting next Wednesday I will be closed for the next 8 Wednesdays for a class that I'm taking and offering Sundays in lieu of Wednesdays. As always if anyone needs an earlier or later appointment it can always be accommodated.
Over the past year Ive had many people calling on holidays including calls this Christmas day, Boxing day, calls in the late evenings and even in the middle of the night so I will be turning off my phone outside of these hours until I get a second phone strictly for grooming, please leave a message if calling outside business hours and all messages will be returned the following business day🙂
And as always I groom one on one by appointment only and cannot accommodate walk ins, please call text or message to book an appointment.

It's been a busy month trying to get all the good doggies in the area ready for their visit from Santa tonight! After being open 22 out of 24 days I think I got everyone in, and I apologize to the ones who couldn't be squeezed in at the last minute and to the ones who missed their appointments and couldn't be fit back in.
Now this tired groomer is ready for some much needed rest. I'll be closed over the next week to enjoy the holidays with family and friends💗

I think I might have woken up in the North Pole this morning! So much snow and so cold out there!🥶 I hope everyone is staying warm and cozy today.
The road is plowed, the driveway is shoveled and I'm ready for another day of pampering some pooches in time for Christmas!🥰
