With the help of some friends and this lovely girl, we managed to harvest the garlic scape from our first larger scale planting of @ 4000 Russian Red garlic!

Turning them into scape butter and pesto (thank you again Jo) was quite interesting, and the taste is incredible!!!

Feels a little bit more like spring this weekend!🌞

Freeze dried some extra zucchini l had stored, and some banana slices 😋

Thanks again to the nice couple that came for potatoes today, and l have lots of reds and golds for those who have been inquiring.

Well that's the last of the carrots, l saved them for the freeze dryer. It feels good to put nutritional whole foods away for the future, and this weather is perfect for the pre frozen approach!
