Hi everyone.

Well, I am down to the last couple weeks of booked grooms before I close my doors. To say that the goodbyes has been difficult would be an understatement. 😭😭

I am getting a lot of queries about other groomers that I would recommend. Sadly, I don’t know any so if anyone has found one that they would recommend, please let me know.

I need to clarify that the health issues I stated in my earlier post is not life threatening.
I’ve been dealing with some mobility issues which is not getting any better, even with the changes to the size, weight and number of dogs I groom.
The decision to stop grooming was not easy but is the only alternative I have left if I want to be able to enjoy these ‘senior years’.
So, although I appreciate everyone’s concern, please accept my apologies for my lack of thought and poor wording.

Another year is underway and my wish for everyone is happy and prosperous beginnings that continue throughout. ❤️
On that note, and with regrets, I am announcing that I will be closing my business due to health issues.
I will honour all appointments that are booked in this new year, but will not be accepting any new bookings.
I want to thank you all for choosing me to be your fur babies groomer. Know that each one has brought to me, with their own personalities, lots of love and laughter.
I thank you for your understanding and hope to see you out and about.

We have all had those moments when we should have had our phones on us to catch a priceless video or picture. Well I just had such a moment, watching Fergie (my grand dog) and Murphy (my dog). Yes, I know everyone knows who Murphy is. 😂 🐶
Anyway, Fergie was laying down chewing her elk bone and Murphy was laying down facing her with his nose as close as he could possibly get it. Fergie just kept chewing away. Murphy then put his paws on her paws and they sat like this for a bit. Next thing, she stops chewing and pushes it to him.
He chewed for a bit and gave it back. They are priceless. ❤️❤️
Another moment where we humans could learn so much from animals.

Benji’s mom came in very apologetic for not knowing about the correct way to brush him out. To get under the mats and pelted fur I needed to shave him close. Luckily, his head wasn’t bad so I was able to let this handsome devil strut some stuff. 🥰 When his family came to pick him up we went over tools and proper brushing techniques. Stay tuned for the photos from his next groom. 😉

Seems like he is telling me he can dry himself, no need for the blaster. Nice try Milo. 😄

This bear listens better than my dog. 😆 Bear poop warning. 💩 We have picked all the apples since this was taken this morning. Hopefully, if she comes back, she won’t stay.
