The peanut is Ivy and she gives the sweetest kisses. 😘 The whole time I groom her she just wants to love! ❤️ And she definitely fits the definition of “puppy dog eyes”! 🥹 She comes in for a deshed and 7/8” clip which tidies the scruffies but leaves her fluffy. ✂️😃💖🎀 Sweet girl! 💖

Charlie and his sister Daisy are two peas in a pod! 🫛 They come to their appointment together and watch each others grooms, and then get crazy happy when they’re both done and can play!!!! 😅 They’re pretty gosh darn sweet!!!! 💚

Through no fault of her own, foster Jane is back. ❤️‍🩹 I took a little road trip to Saskatchewan to go get her from where it just wasn’t working out. 😔She unfortunately lost weight and needed to restart in some areas.
BUT that’s ok!!!! 💖 Already she has made such amazing progress with her confidence and she’s gaining weight slowly. I just adore this fearful little foster and would do anything for her. I want to help her love life. I remember there were times I wondered if she could love life, back in the winter when I first got her. But over time I see joy in her eyes, she plays with me and she loves Prudence more than life itself.
Fostering behavioural fosters is challenging for sure. But it’s also so amazing and rewarding in so many ways. And it’s important for Jane. She’s just so incredible. ♥️🐾

Piper had a little medical situation and had to postpone her grooming appointment BUT looks who’s feeling all better now!!!!! ❤️‍🩹 She’s back to her normal self and is doing fabulous! 🐕 Phew! 😮‍💨 So awesome to see her today!!! 💖

Baby Marley is growing up and is 11 months old already! 🩷 She had some matts, but I want her to continue to learn to love the grooming process so I shaved and scissored them out and blended and hid the short spots as best I could. ✂️ So she still has some fluff and still thinks this place is a-ok! 💖 When she was done she followed me around and if I sat on the floor she would climb on and put her head on my shoulder. 🥹 Goodness she’s just too cute! 😍

Rescue is in my blood, heart and soul. When I’m glum I find I gravitate even more to fostering and rescue so this morning I went down to AARCS and trimmed up the gunk and matts from little foster Wickets face and enjoyed some much needed snuggles from this sweet boy. I think this was more for me than him today. But that’s okay ~ he got some extra luvin’. And I found a little bit of joy. ❤️
